kenzies pov :

maybe its the way she walked

straight into my heart and stole it

though the doors and passed the guards just like she already owned it

I groaned and turned off my alarm, I have forgotten to turn it off for two days.

"hey that's my jam" Katie said just waking up too

"its too early for one direction" I said laying down again

"its never too early for 1d" she said back

it was 11 o'clock by the time I could convince Katie to get out of bed I didn't really sleep after I woke up I couldn't stop thinking about my date

we went down to the cafeteria I got a bagel and Katie got an apple and we walked back up to our dorm and ate when we heard violent knocking on the door I got up to open it

"what are you wearing for your date" becca said/ yelled at me

"t-shirt and flip flops " I said before she gasped

"no"

"we are going to the beach  i'm not wearing heels" I said back

"but, but..." she stuttered

"by becca" I said closing the door with her behind it

me and Katie just kinda hung out and watch TV for a few hours before I had to get ready

I wore my white and pink bikini with my sheer white v neck t shirt with cut offs light blue shorts with my hair in a messy bun and pink floral sunglasses

I sat on my bed and scrolled though instagram when I heard another knock on the door I got up and opened it to see toby in blue and black swim trunks with a random t shirt on.

" hey" toby said

"hi" I said back

"you look great"

"thanks you do to"

"well are you ready" he said

"yeah"

we walked out side the dorms building and into the admissions office to check our self's out thenwe walked along the sidewalk for a few minutes until we reached the beach we saw people showering off the seawater we found a spot on the beach where it wasn't too crowded and I took off my shirt and shorts when I saw toby take his shirt off I couldn't help but stare

he turned around and saw me looking and smiled

"shut up" I said playfully pushing him

"haha I didn't say anything"

"you said it with your face"i said

"sure I did" he said

"are you ready" I said

"yeah" he said we started walking to the shore when I felt his fingers touch mine on instinct I pulled away but I realized what I did and put my hand back down and soon enough toby gently held my hand

we got to the water when I let the water glide over my feet

"oh my god its cold" I said

''really its cold"he said

"yeah don't you feel it" I said

"no" he said then he ran and picked me up bridal style and ran into the water

it was really cold so it took me by surprise making me scream

"I hate you" I yelled sarcastically

"no you don't you looove me" he said carrying it out

"in your dreams" I said walking out of the water when we saw two ten year old girls whispering and staring at us and pointing

"um excuse me are you toby from before you exit" one of them asked

"yes I am" he said smiling

"can we have a picture with you" she asked

"sure" he said one of the girls handed me their phone then i took a few pictures of them

tobys pov

kenzie took a few pictures of me and the girls then handed them back their phone one of the girls tapped my arm to whisper something in my ear so I bent down

"is she your girlfriend" she asked

" hopefully I like her" I whispered back

the girls went back to playing and we walked around the beach

"not to be mean but what was that about" she asked

"we post things on YouTube and we do local shows so some people around here have heard of us"

"oh Mr. famous over here" she said jokingly

"and what did she whisper in you ear"

"oh nothing" I said nervously

AN:

hey guys I know I haven't been on in a really long time but I have school and dance and I really didn't think this stupid dance class would effect me so much but i'm always having to practice because I suck and I really want to do good. right now we are doing a dance to dance with me tonight by olly murs which is where I found before you exit and their are a lot of juniors that are my friends in my dance class that like them too so anyways im really sorry and I know this chapter is short but kenzie and toby finally went on a date!
