a year on...

its been a year since me and toby got together and we are bolth sophmores now and today is our one year anniversary.

I heard something outside our door but I just ignored it. when I heard something being slided under the door, I got up off the bed and picked up an envelope that was decorated with a bunch of hearts, I opened it and it was a letter from toby

dear beautiful,

today is our one year anniversary, I just wanted to say I love you and I am taking you out for dinner tonight and other activities that are a surprise so im not telling you yet! by the way im coming over in 20 minutes

i was laying on my bed on my phone waiting for toby. about 20 minutes later i heard a knock on the door, i got up and opened it to see toby in board shorts and a t shirt with sunglasses on his head with one red rose in his hand

" hey" he said smiling

" hi" i said smiling back and opening the door more for him to walk in

" is Katie here" he asked

" no she was gone when i woke up, i think she is with the other girls practicing guitar or something"

"good" he said before he walked closer to me then softly kissed me, I felt his lips curl into a smile as did mine

" this is for you" he said handing me the rose

" aw thank you" I said

" oh that's not it" he said

" then ill wait to give you yours" I said back

" fine" he said then kissing my nose " so should we get going"

" where are we going?" I asked

" its a surprise" he said " but your going to need to put on swim suit, and after that we are coming back here to change clothes"

"ok" I said then shoving him into the bathroom and shutting the door

I grabbed my blue and white lace bikini and my cutoffs jean shorts and a sheer t shirt and changed into them, I opened the bathroom door and saw toby looking at him self in the mirror, I threw my hair in a pony tail and slipped on flip flops

" ready" toby asked

" yeah" I said

we checked out in the main office then walked across the street to the board walk and the beach, we found a spot and took off our shorts and shirts, I kicked off my flip flops

" hot sand! hot sand!" I yelled

toby picked me up and ran into the water

" does this bring back memories?" he asked

" yes" I said " our first date "

" correct" he said then kissed me

we swam a little farther into the water when in the corner of my eye I saw I big wave coming but before I could do anything the wave crashed over toby and I making both our heads go under the water.

I was still in tobys arms so he swam back up to surface, we both spewed out the nasty sea water and erupted into a fit of laughter we swam back to shore.

we walked to the local ice cream shop and shared a huge sundae, we romantically fed each other, while getting half of it on our faces in the process.

after that we walked back to the school and into my dorm room
