Anakin's POV
it was hard saying goodbye to someone I barely knew but I felt like I had bonded with Leia for the short moments before snoke killed her. I was in my chambers on D'Qar and meditating I could feel a disturbance in the force the dark side was growing I could feel it even though I am the chosen one this feeling was different then Padme entered the room as I had my vision I could not believe what I saw and I know Padme could know I had something on my mind she knew me too much that I could keep secrets from her. She then spoke "I miss them both Leia and Luke they were so gifted Luke died peacefully while Leia was out right murdered by that evil man snoke". I then hugged her and then appeared before us the ghosts of our twin children Luke and Leia. They both said before us "mum,dad remember what we have always been taught that there is no death, there is only the force ". I then remembered everything master Yoda taught me and finally understood it all I then felt at peace I then let go of every piece of guilt I had over the years and it felt good I could see my mum and I knew she was at peace. I then proceeded to the war room with Padme by my side as the resistance received a transmission from coruscant saying that the first order had taken over the planet and the republic requested aid from the resistance and I said I will lead an attack force on the planet. To free the planet from the clutches of the first order I planned to send a message to dearth tanoess to draw her out into the open so that I could face her one more time to convince her that the dark side is not the only path out away from death.

Darth Tanoess POV

I could still feel him my old master the one who betrayed the republic and almost killed him now it was my turn to repay the favour. I was then receiving a message from my master supreme leader Snoke and he spoke in a firm tone " he comes hoping to seduce to the light side of the force do not be tempted so lightly to go back down that path destroy Skywalker". What Snoke was asking me was out of line his plan was to release the vader still in Anakin's but now he is asking me to destroy him I just can't he has saved my life so many times that I owe him my life maybe this path was wrong after all then an apparition appeared before me and it was a being I didn't even know. So who could it be and then he spoke " hello Ashoka Tano I sense your fear it is not wise to think like you are at the moment but if you think death is what you deserve then challenge your master to a final duel but remember only one of you walks away alive". I then knew who I had spoken to it was the legendary Jedi Sith Revan slayer of mandalorians and he was right I then sent a message to Anakin for a duel and he replied with acceptance. We met in the old Jedi temple on Coruscant and I got my lightsabers ready and prepared myself for a duel Anakin came his lightsaber already ignited and we faced in a duel our lightsabers clashing and dodging each other's attacks we then were getting tired and that was my mistake because as soon as I turned there was already a lightsaber in my chest and I was on my knees and I felt anakin's hands on me. I then asked "why do you still hold me I betrayed the very thing I stand for I am a traitor to everything I every know" and he smiled and said " "because you were my apprentice I trained you to be the best there is and you did what you thought is right just like I did and we both turned".

Anakin POV

As I laid her head down and closed her eyes and I then knew she had passed. I remembered all the good times we had together fighting the separatists and the droid army we truly were made for each other and in the end we fought against each other but I am glad we did because I now know how long she had come as a Jedi she turned out to be the most noble knight I would know she would be missed as my apprentice, as my sister and as my best friend.
