I cursed plopping down on my bed. What the hell has gotten into Erin? It's that Niall Horan guy from that band. Erin has always been somewhat obsessed, and it was the cutest thing in the world. I ran a hand through auburn hair. This was so frustrating. I've started my life over in many places, but this was by far the best I've ever had. I've fallen for a lot of women, and they've fallen for me. I can see the want in certain girl's eyes in the hallway.
I didn't want any of that.
I wanted Erin.
I've never wanted a girl so bad in my life. Maybe because these girls were easy, and Erin was strong, funny, beautiful; a girl who didn't take shit from anyone. It was no surprise Mr. Boy Band is now smitten under her spell. And the sucky thing is, once you fall for Erin there's no getting back up. And the confusing part was, I didn't know if I wanted to get back up or not.
Or even try to get back up.
I had the biggest urge to find Erin, see how she and Niall are doing. I could tell she felt guilty after yelling at me, and she promised to call me later.
Damn her.
I couldn't stop looking at my phone. No text, no nothing. I changed into a different pair of jeans and a black hoodie. Screw it. I knew I was basically acting like a stalker, but what else was I supposed to do? I lace up my shoes, take my car keys, and drive off in my dark red Convertible. I didn't let people know I'm rich and live alone. Only Erin knows about it. This life I just wanted to seem normal. I've played the rich, popular, kid. It wasn't as fun after a while.
I could sense Erin, weird enough. She doesn't know I can do it. She, honestly, knows absolutely nothing about me. She knows what I tell her. Which, is mostly lies. I don't like lying to her; it hurts my heart to do it. If only she saw how much I loved her.
I can help.
I stopped dead in the middle of the road praying that the voice didn't belong to who I thought it was.
"That hurts," A guy with dark hair and bright eyes rests his hand on my door.
I sigh in frustration. "What the hell do you want?! I told you years ago I wanted nothing to do with you."
He smiles amused pissing me off. "Come on, we're brothers, Legion."
"My name is Ian, Dolor." I growl.
He laughs out loud. "Ian? Nice cover name. Doesn't it get boring? Living as a human for many years gets boring, don't you think?"
"Since when did you get enough strength to even take human form?" I switch the attention back to him.
"I'm not as dumb as you think I am, big brother." He chuckles darkly.
"Anyway, where are you going?"
"To find a friend," I refuse to let him know about Erin.
"Another whore perhaps?"
"She isn't..." I started yelling but stopped.
"You can't stay with her forever,"
Dolor's face turned serious. "Stop living in a fantasy. You aren't human."
"Shut up," I snap.
"Hey, don't get lipy." He sighs. "You always were oversensitive."
I was getting sick of his shit. "What do you want?"
He smiles maliciously. "Just wanted you to know I'm back. And I need your help."
"You're on your own."
"Come on, brother! Let's cause some chaos like the old days!"
"No,"
"I'm in love too," He mutters.
I raise my eyebrows. "You? Fucking doubtful."
"It's true. Every step I take takes strategic planning on getting closer to taking her with me."
"It's not true love, or you'd let her go." I wasn't going to listen anymore.
"Then maybe you should take your own advice." I swallow hard.
Dolor puts his hand down hard on my car before I could stomp on the gas pedal. "Just don't get in my way, brother. Because we both have something in common: we don't listen to your advice. If you won't join me, just don't get in my way."
"Then don't bother me," I press down on the gas pedal and left him there.

I finally found Erin and Niall in the park. She had a huge bouquet of roses smelling their divine scent. Niall smiled softly tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. Maybe I shouldn't have come. I was just pissed now. How the hell was I going to pull her away from him? She'd get so pissed off if she saw me.
When Niall walked off to the hot dog stand it was my turn to take action. I sneak away from my car and stood by the hot dog stand with crossed arms. Niall noticed me, and his blue eyes slightly darkened in a way I've never seen. This guy wasn't normal. But there was no way in hell, literally, that he was a demon.
"Niall," I greeted stiffly.
"What do you want?" Niall stepped closer, his voice calm.
"Stay way from Erin."
"You don't own her."
"Never said I did."
"You don't need to say it; you act like it," Niall narrows his eyes. "I won't tell Erin about this little encounter. We'll settle this like men."
"Couldn't agree more." I tighten my fist.
"Fighting isn't a way men handle things." Niall sighs in exasperation. "Am I right?"
I felt like a fucking five year old being scolded by his parent. "I knew her before you." I bit out. "You...have no right."
"I'm-" But then Niall stops short widening his eyes. "Ian..."
"What?"
His jaw tightens. "I'm sorry. But I just...I can't stay away from her. I trust you because you haven't hurt her yet. That tells me your feelings are true." He steps so close I can feel his breath on my face. "One false move though, you may force me to cleanse you."
He reaches up and touches my face. I feel a slight burn on my face, and I stumble backwards. "You a fucking Exorcist?" Niall grins practically glowing; I change my answer. "You're a fucking angel."
"And you're a demon." Niall's face turns grave and backs up walking away to Erin who looked beautiful in the sunlight bouncing off her golden hair as she continues to sniff her roses.
It's not true love, or you'd let her go.
Because we both have something in common: we don't listen to your advice.
