I couldn't concentrate day. Dolor was the only thing I cared about; not these stupid equations Mr. Ermen was failing to pound into my head. I could care less about graduating; I'd drop out now, but I have a job to do unfortunately.

But as long as I please Dolor I'd endure anything. There's a girl he said that goes to my school that he needs. Jealousy has been eating at me ever since, but he assured his love to me. I can still feel his hands wandering my body. He was in love with me, and this girl was most likely as good as dead.

He told me I'd find her because I would sense it. So far today I haven't got squat. I groan leaving calculus and heading down the hall. I glanced at all the girls, but nobody sparked interest.

"Hey, Vi!" Oh god. I turn around to see Erin waving at me.

"Erin," I reply almost stiffly.

She rolls her eyes. "We're sisters! Where's the-"

"I don't have time right now," I cut her off harshly.

Erin doesn't even flinch; she should have been used to this by now. I glanced at my sister. She wore regular jeans and a British flag hoodie. Her good hair was tied into a high ponytail, but damn her she was still gorgeous.

"Who are you looking for?"

"God. Stop being a pain in my ass," I hiss continuing to look around.

"Fine, you need to cut out being such a bitch," Erin snaps.

I almost said Dolor likes it when I act bitchy, but I just kept my mouth shut.

"I'm going to lunch," she huffs walking away.

"Erin, wait up!" I hear a voice say from behind.

I felt a slight tug in my stomach. I widened my eyes. I knew what Dolor was talking about now. It was her. I turn around, and I see she has bright blue eyes, long blonde hair, and simple jeans with a checkered red and black shirt with a gray beanie. She was very pretty, and I hated her already. I grabbed her by the wrist and she gave me a look of shock and bemusement. She was weak and prey under my charcoal gaze.

She blinked. "Who are you?"

"What's your name?" I couldn't tell her straight out, 'Oh, nothing, just my demon lover wants you as an eternal slave, and he wants your soul for eternal damnation. So if you could come with me please...'

"Gracie Matthews...who are you?" She clenches her jaw.

"Violet," I didn't really want to give her my last name; of course, she is best friends with my sister now.

"Last name?"

"Doesn't matter," I tug her arm dragging her down the hall.

"Hey-!"

"Let go of her, Vi," Erin sets her hands on her hips as the bell rings.

I growl letting Gracie to and heading to chemistry late.

Not that I cared.

"Dolor it's so pretty here," I look out at the large pond. It was a nice fall day, a little chilly of course, but thankfully Dolor gave me his cozy leather jacket. I sat on the ground in my short black dress and tights with my boots. I dressed nice after school telling my aunt I was being made to stay after for detention; I just changed in the bathroom stall.

Dolor gazed at me with blazing eyes as he took a stand of my hair smelling it. I couldn't explain why, but I absolutely loved when he did that.

"Did you find the girl I'm looking for, love?" He breathes his sweet breath wafting my face.

I now. "Yeah, just like you said. She's a weak little girl," I added with a chuckle. I didn't mention her radiant beauty.

"Why didn't you bring her to me then?" He wasn't laughing, and he didn't have the same warmness as before. His hands were in fists, and his eyes were glazed over in animosity.

"She's friends with my sister," I say in defense. "I couldn't just drag her out of school with her there."

Dolor gripped my arm so hard I cried out. "Don't you dare give me excuses. You bring her to me soon,"

"O-okay," his grip was still tight on me. "When? When do you want me to bring her?"

His grip loosened and he let go reluctantly; did he want to keep hurting me? "Maybe it actually was a good thing you didn't bring her," he scoffs. "I'm not very powerful yet, and she's a feisty one. Don't let her fool you, my sweet.

"I'll hold her back,"

He shakes his head. "Don't interfere with my affairs, darling. This is personal business,"

I picked at my dress. "What did she do to you?"

He smirks. "Don't worry too much about it. The point is, is that she won't be living long,"

"And then after we can be together?" I ask quietly sneaking a shy amount of cleavage into his view.

"Of course," he smiles kissing me hard; he tasted of mildew. Almost sugary. It made me wonder what he ate.

I pull back slightly. "Forever,"

He slowly smiled his eyes twinkling with something I couldn't decipher. "Forever. I promise Violet,"

And I thought out fate was sealed.
