Chapter 8 - What Are You Doing Here?

Luke's POV

Someone opened the door to my small room, motioning me to follow them out. I was still tired, so I didn't quite know who it was, but went along with it. I stood up, ran my hands through my hair, ans shakily walked to them. They haven't given me anything today, but the ammount of drugs they have been giving me is putting so much strain on my body that i'm loosing strength quickly. Maybe that's what they wanted, so I couldn't go, couldn't go anywhere actually.

The person lead me to the kitchen, me now seeing dad in front of me. "How did you sleep?" I wanted to reply, but I couldn't, everything just hurt, especially my torso where the physco man stabbed me. They fixed me up, but it still hurts like a bitch. "I SAID HOW DID YOU SLEEP!" He suddenly boomed, grabbing my head and slamming it into the bench.

I was in a daze, and fell off the chair onto the floor, not being able to get up again. He stood over me, expecting me to fight back, but I couldn't. I felt like a bug, and dad was the boot, he literally held my life is his hands, and that there was a scary thought.

"Are you okay? Can you stand?" He asked, sounding genuinely worried. I shook my head, a tear rolling down my cheek. "I can't move." He panicked slightly, lifting me up and dropping me on the hard unconfortable couch. "Take this." He said, handing me some water, a pill dissolving in it. I freaked out, thinking it was more drugs, and grabbed the glass and threw it at his face.

He cried out in agony, falling down next to me, screaming at me. "IT WAS AN ASPRIN YOU CUNT!" I stood up, shaking, and did my best to walk. I made it to the door, but as I was about to open it, it burst out, Leon standing there, holding a passed out Beau in his arms, someone that I couldn't see also behind him.

"Luke, you okay?" Leon asked, walking in, seeing dad with his face bleeding, on the floor engulfed with rage. "GRAB HIM!" He shouted, standing up and running towards me, Leon stopping him. "Calm down, we got Beau." Dad seemed to calm down a little, looking at Beau in Leon's arms. "Put him in Luke's room, take him up there too, i'll deal with him later." I gulped, wishing this would just end.

Beau's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, feeling like absolute shit. My head pounded, it was like I had a hangover, only this was a million times worse. I sat up slightly, scanning the room quickly, seeing someone in the corner, staring at me. "Hello?" They stayed quiet, still staring at me like I had three heads or something.

Think Beau, where would you be? Who would that be? How the fuck did you get here? Maybe the new pills i'm getting makes me go crazy, so i'm in some druggies house right now.. oh god that better not be true.

"Tell me you're actually not here." Luke said, standing up, now fully into view. Wait, Luke? Holy shit, LUKE! "Oh thank fuck you're okay!" Luke laughed, sitting back down. "If i'm here, do you actually think i'm okay?" I stayed quiet, knowing he was right. "Exactly." He muttered, me running my hands through my hair.

I studied him for a second, he looked like absolute shit, his face was pale, he had purple rings around his eyes, he just looked shit. "What happened to you man?" He glared at me for a second. "We are in a house with dad and crazy people what do you think they did to me!" He said harshly, looking away from me. "Did they rape-" "NO!" He screamed, throwing something at me. "THEY'RE MENTAL BUT THEY AREN'T THAT MENTAL FOR FUCK SAKES BEAU EW!"

It could've happened.

There was a slight silence, before I spoke up again, unsure of what he knew. "Do you um, do you know this girl called Kiley?" He stayed quiet for a second, like he was rattling his brain for an answer. Luke's eyes suddenly widened. "Yeah, from London Kiley if that's what you mean." He then shot me a confused look. "Wait, how do you know her?"
