Chapter 10 - Stupid Choices

Luke's POV

I shoved my way through everyone in the plane, even barging through old people to get out of this stupid ass thing i've been stuck in for a day. "Excuse me!" An old lady said, hitting me with her bag. "That's alright." I said smirking, grabbing her bag and throwing it to the back of the plane. "Go fetch ya old hag." I hissed, storming off down the short hallway, me getting back the feeling of the British air I almost forgot.

Dad and Will walked past me, me following, people looking at me like they knew me. Some girls shouted my name, but I just ignored them. If i'm forgetting my family, that means no more Janoskians either. "We'll go shopping later for clothes Luke." Dad said, patting me on the back. "Good." I muttered, seeing us pass a Maccas, me automatically stopping, remembering what had happened that day.

*FlashBack*

"I want you to come back to London with me and Luke-" "NO!" I cried, fidgetting in his grip, the knife pressing lightly on my arm, me stopping quickly. I have just gotten happy, the happiest I have ever been in my life. He is not taking this away from me. "DID I ASK YOU TO SPEAK?!" He snapped, the grip on my shoulder getting more painful. "No-" "THEN SHUT YOUR WORTHLESS MOUTH" He boomed.

"You don't actually expect us to go with you, do you?" Mum said strongly, surprisingly calm. Dad shrugged. "Maybe, maybe not, but you will, trust me with that." I caught Jai's worried gaze. 'I have a plan.' I mouthed, his eyes widening. 'On 3, run.' It wasn't the best idea i've ever had, but what do you expect me to do in a situation like this? I'm not a bloody idealist.. whatever that is.

'One.' I mouthed, looking at mum and dad who were in a heated argument. 'Two.' I saw flashing lights in the distance, the guy outside waving his gun around. Well that's completely safe. I took a deep breath, seeing Jai and Beau nodding slightly. 'Three'. Without warning, I ducked out of dads grip unexpectedly, quickly running to the door, a shot being fired, the noise piercing in my ears.

I pushed my way past the guy outside, who was too busy worrying about the cops to notice me. After a little while away from everything, I stopped, sighing loudly. "Boys we did it!" I said loudly, waiting for a reply, but not getting one. "Boys?" I turned around, seeing no one behind me. "BEAU?!" I began to panic, spinning around madly, looking for my brothers. "JAI?!" I then remembered something that. made my skin crawl.

A gun fired as I was leaving.

"No." I muttered, tears in my eyes, wandering back to the Maccas. "Please, please no." There were about 4 police cars out the front, lights flashing everywhere. There were a number of people outside, some shaken up, probably the ones that were inside at the time. I attempted to walk through the Police line, someone stopping me. "Sir, you can't go through there." My heart dropped. "W-Why?" "There's a young man being attended to by the paramedics in a critical condition-" That's all I needed to hear.

I pushed past him, bursting through the door, everything going numb at what I saw.

*FlashBack End*

I shook my head, ignoring the thought, telling them I needed to eat. "Fine, just be quick." Dad said, Will handing me the money. I quickly walked over, adjusting the grey beanie I had stolen on the plane from a little teeny bopper.

As I walked up to the counter, the girls eyes widened as she saw me. "Holy crap you're-" "Luke Brooks yeah just get me a Big Mack." She nodded automatically, me handing her the money, her hurrying with my food. "Here you go." She smiled, handing me it. "Thanks." Before I could leave, she asked me something that sent me off. "Where's everyone else? Where's Jai?"

I spun around instantly, glaring at the girl who suddenly looked scared as shit. "It's absolutely none of your fucking business!" I spat, raising the burger and chucking it at her. She gasped as it went all over her white shirt, me suddenly laughing. "Luke-" "Save it little miss nosey ass." I muttered, walking off with all eyes on me.
