Chapter 11~ Is He After Me?

Summers POV

Once I woke up, I looked around the room hoping that Demi was still going to be there. But she wasnt. "I knew she wasnt going to stay with me." I told myself. A tear rolled down my cheek. Why did I believe her? I thought to myself. Next thing I knew, I was crying. Then someone walked through the door. "Summer why are you crying?" Demi asked. "I thought that you left me because if where I am." I said and more tears went down my cheek. "No Summer. I would never say that I would stay by your side then leave you. I have been in the hospital once before too. I know you need someone to tell you that everything is going to be fine, and im going to be the one to say that." Demi said. I thought for a second and started crying again. "What did I do Summer? Please dont cry." Demi said scared and hurt because she thought she hurt me. "No Demi. These are tears of joy. No one has ever cared about me so much before. Sometimes I think that im dreaming because my role model is standing right infront of me saying that she wants to help me and actually cares about me and saved my life. It means soo much to me that someone cares enough to drop what they were doing just to stay in a hospital with me. Thank you Demi." I said with a smole on my face. "Your welcome Summer. Im gonna go to the hotel that I was staying in and gonna grab my stuff. I should be back soon. Okay." Demi said and I nodded. Then she walked out the door. My eyelids started feeling heavy and next thing I knew I was falling asleep. ** 2 hours later** I was awoken by something that sounded like a gun shot. Then a voice came over the loudspeaker, "Sorry guys. There is someone in the hospital with a gun. Please lock your doors and stay in your rooms till the person leaves. We will let you know when the person is gone. Dont panic, everything will be okay." Then it went silent. So I got out of my bed and went to lock the door. Then I grabbed the hospital phone and called Demi. "Hello?" "Demi its Summer, where are you?" I asked her. I hope she isnt at the hospital. "Im in the hospital parking lot why?" "Dont come into the hospital. There is a gunman in here. Please get back in your car and go to the police." I was scared. I really dont want Demi to die because im in here. "Summer are you okay? I dont want to leave you, btu I will go to the police. Be safe and I will see you soon." And with that, Demi hung up. As I put up the phone, I herd a gunshot outside my door. Then a man yelled. "Im not leaving till I find her." Then I herd footsteps leave my door. Who was that man looking for? 20 minutes have passed and there was no sound. Next thing I knew there was pounding on my door. "Open the door now!!!" The voice of the gunman said.
