Chapter 14~ There Is Always Another Way

Summers POV

This time I woke up I was moving. Where was I going. I tried screaming but there was duck tape on my mouth so I tried to bang on something and get out but of course my hands and feet were tied together. Where was I going and why am I in a trunk? About 30 minutes later(I didnt know because i dodnt have a watch), the car has stopped. Then the trunk opened and there was the guy who said he was my dad. He grabbed a knife from his pocket and I knew that this is going to be my last breath. He put the knife up to my wrists and cut the rope and did the same for my feet. Then he riped off the duck tape. "Lets go Summer. I dont have all day." he said. So I got out of the trunk and walked behind him. We were in the middle of some woods and infront of us was a cabin. "You never told me your name." I said. If he was my father I wanted to know what his name is. "Oh yeah I forgot. My name is Adam but you can call me dad." He said. "Im not going to call you dad. Never ever. You are not my dad. My dad would of been in my life, not gone. My dad wouldnt go to a hospital with a gun and take his daughter, then kidnap her and tie her up and put her in a trunk. So dont tell me to call you my dad because you are no father to me." I snapped at him. He has no right to sit there and tell me to call him dad. "Then I felt some pain on my c heek. He slapped me across my face. "Dont talk to me like that ever again. Im your father not some stranger you just meet.: He said. 'But I just meet you. Your not my father.' I said under my breath. "What did you just say?" Adam said to me. "I said yes sir." "Okay good now lets go." He said and walked into the cabin. I followed becuase I didnt want anything to happen. Once inside he made me sit on the couch. I was there for like 4 hours because it got dark out. He was passed out drunk next to me so I took that as my chance to get away. So I got up slowly and made my way towards the door. To my luck he forgot to lock the door so I opened it up and ran. I herd behind me, "You wont get away, I will get you again sometime soon. I promise." After hearing that, it modivated me to run faster. I ran as fast as I could till I found a road. Once I was on the road I saw a car coming. I was waving my hands and arms to try to stop them. I herd a honk and then I saw a light. Then everything went black.
