I woke and looked down at J, her head was resting on my chest. My wings fluttered a bit at her beautiful sleeping face. Shit, why am I such a creep when it comes to J? I quietly untangle myself from her and take a shower. It takes me a few minutes to find something to wear since J is a bit smaller than me. I eventually find a pair of jeans and a Korn t-shirt that fits.
Once I finish dressing, I scribble down a note saying that I left so I wouldn't frighten her family, and that I would return her clothes later. I kissed her sleeping figure goodbye, and I jumped out the window and headed back home.
I climbed into my room, and immediately put on some music and started to work out. I needed to train more because I had a feeling yesterday's event was not a coincidence. I continued for hours until and pushed my muscles to the max. I checked my phone and saw that it was already noon, and J tried to call.
I was just about to call her back when I hear a loud horn and a knock on the door. I ran downstairs in hopes that all of my stuff had finally gotten here. I was going absolutely ballistic without my bike. I opened the door and a large man stood in front of me asking some stupid question, but I pushed past him and ran to where my bike was parked on the road.
She was beautiful. Oh, I've missed it more than anything. I ran my hand across it completely entranced.
I looked up as my mother shouted my name, "What the hell are you doing, you bitch?"
I looked up and almost laughed at how pissed she looked, "I don't give a fuck about what you have to say, just sign the damn papers so I can get my keys."
She laughed, "No, bitch. I sign the papers, I get the keys."
I just laughed. I knew that I could take her. I don't care if I have to beat her ass in front of everybody, the motorcycle was mine. I bought it with my own money, and there was no way this bitch would take it from me.
She looked at me like I was crazy, and signed the papers. As they started unloading the stuff, the man with my keys started walking toward my mother. I walked up him and just took my keys.
Climbing onto my bike, I gave a little wave to my mother and yelled, "So long, Mother-fucking jackass!"
Her mouth hung open and I about died; I was laughing so hard. I knew I was going to regret that later, but I could care less right now. My bike and I took off to J's house. I parked a few blocks away and called her.
"Hey, J. Wanna get some lunch?"
I hear the smile in her voice when she replies, "Yeah, just tell me where and when."
"Now, and I'm not sure. See you in a few." I say and start my bike back up. Before I go, I noticed a bunch of lilies growing right across the street. I hop off my bike, and pick a few then drive to get J.
I knock on the door, flowers in hand. A woman opens the door and smiles at me, "You must be Bethany, Jean has been talking quite a lot about you lately."
Shit, this must be J's mom. I blush when she looks down at the lilies and smirks.
"Uh, yeah, and you must be Mrs. Smith." I held my out my arm, and we shook hands.
"Jean dear, you have a guest." She called out.
J came barreling down the stairs, and gave me a quick hug. I took in her outfit and almost drooled all over her. She was wearing a short dress that was completely black, and across her chest, NIRVANA was written. I must've been starting too long for her mother's liking because she cleared her throat and reminded me that I had a present for J.
I handed her the bouquet of lilies. She squealed and ran to find a vase for them. Her mother was no longer looking at me quite as nicely after seeing what J was wearing and how I was checking her out. J came back quickly, thank god, and I took her hand and led her out to my bike.
"J, I would like you to meet the love of my life." I say as a motion towards my bike.
She blushes and giggles at me, "A little bit of a cliche, no?"
"Nothing but the best for you, beautiful." I say back and hand her a helmet. Once she puts it on, I lift her on to the motorcycle, and climb on after her.
I drive to the cafe J asked to go to. After I park, J pulls off her helmet as I slide off my bike. I pick her up bridal style and place her back on the ground.
She blushes when I pick her up again, but I'm tired of feeling alone. J makes me feel different and I'm going to show her that I want her. I want her to know that I like her so that maybe something can happen between us one day.
"I'm perfectly capable of getting on and off your motorcycle my nyself." J says defiantly.
I laugh at her, "I know, but I like taking care of you."
J starts to blush even harder, but before she could answer, a guy came running up to us and hugged her tightly.
"Jean! It feels like ages since I last saw you!"
J smiles and laughs at him, "Well, I came to visit now, and I brought my best friend."
I smile at what she says and wave to the guy who is now staring down at my chest. Ugh, I hate it when this happens. Normally, I'm very blunt and tell them staight off that I'm gay, but this is J's friend and I don't want to be rude to him.
"Hey, name's Bethany," I say.
He looks up as if remembering that I indeed came with a face too, "Oh, hey I'm Eric, how did you two meet?"
"She moved here over the summer, and I offered to show her around." J says smoothly.
Wow, this girl. I just can't get over how good she is.
"We wanted to go out to eat, and I wanted her to meet our friends so she would know some people when school started." She explains to Eric.
"Oh, well then. Pleasure to make your acquaintance Ms. Bethany." Eric says formally and awkwardly bows.
I laugh, "That's Captain Bethany to you! I didn't get promoted just to let you terrible knights think you can walk right over me."
J and Eric laughed at me, "I'm quite sorry Captain, forgive me, for I am just a mere waiter."
I faked a frown, "Then you must go at once and find me and my princess a table."
At that, I wrapped an arm around J's waist. I wanted to laugh at their startled faces, but I didn't want to embarrass them. Eric ran in the cafe and we followed. To J's dismay, none of her friends were there, but that was fine with me because I enjoyed a wonderful day out with her alone.
