Loving a 'Degrassi' Boy

What do i do?

Ryder was very attractive but I just got out of a relationship... if you could even call it that. It was never true on Luke's end. I looked down at my hand and saw his number I smiled at the thought of him. Maybe I should give him a chance. I picked up my phone and put his number in my contacts before quickly sending him a message that said "Hey Ryder. It's Paisley. :)". Right after I sent the message my phone buzzed and my ringtone, "Want U Back" by Cher Lloyd, started playing I read the caller id. It was Taylor. I hit the ignore button and watch her name fade away. my phone chipped telling me I had a text. Ryder's name appear on the screen.

Ryder- "Hey Gorgeous! So... What do you say? Can I take out?"

"Yes. When? Where?"

Ryder- "Friday? I'll pick you up at 7:00?" Today is Wednesday, so that is two days to get an outfit and I have nothing to do

Paisley- "That works for me! How should I dress? Fancy or casual?"

Ryder- "Fancy! Can't wait!"

Paisley- "Neither can I!!! :D" I smiled at my phone. I think I'm going to get over Luke. I grabbed my keys and drove to the mall. I had to pick out the perfect outfit.

I walked into my favorite dress store and went to the fancy dress section. I skimmed through before a teal and black dress caught my eye. I pulled it off the rack. It had a teal bust with ruffles and the bottom was plain black. It was tight and strapless. it came just above mid-thigh. I loved it. I glanced at the price tag, luckily it was in my price range and it left money so I could buy some heels! I walked across the mall to a shoe store. I went to the heels and tried to find some cute black ones. I finally found some cute strapping black stilettos. I purchased them before heading home. Taylor used to do my hair and makeup for dates... I guess this time she wouldn't. I was excited for my date. maybe I will finally be able to get over Luke. Who knows, hopefully I will. I have never even kissed a boy other then Luke because I have loved him ever since I first watched degrassi. this is the first time I have ever been attracted to anyone else but him. Maybe Ryder is meant to be with me.

When I got home. I hung my dress up in the back of my closet so it wouldn't get ruined before looking at the clock and deciding to climb into bed and get some sleep.

I woke up to someone knocking on the front door I pulled my crutches off the floor and under my arms before slowly hobbling to the door I pulled it open and saw Luke in front of me. "What?" I asked not in the mood for him.

"I'm so sorry. please forgive me." he says his voice filled with guilt and sadness. I saw his eyes were red and puffy.

"I have a date tomorrow with a male nurse from the hospital. Sorry."

"How could you move on so fast?" He said anger filling his eyes.

"You cheated on me!!"I scream and slam the door in his face. I hobbled up to my room and grabbed my phone. I dailed Ryder's number and he answered sleepily. "Hey gorgeous. What's up?"

"Hey. I was wondering if we could do something today?"

"Sure what do you want to do?" He said sleepily. I heard someone start knocking on the door again I slowly get up off my bed. I hobbled down stairs while saying "We could go to fro-yo." I answer as I get to the front door I pull it open and saw Luke, eyes red and puffy and his cheeks glistening with fresh tears. "Sure. What time?" Ryder asked, excitement in his voice.

"Hold on a second Ryder." I saw and hold my phone down at my side. "That's him isn't it?" Luke asked his voice cracking.

"Yes Luke. What do you want?" I ask, annoyed.

"Never mind." He mumbles before turning and walking away. I pulled the phone back to my ear and said. "What time is it now?"

"11:30" he said gently.

"How about 1:00?"

"Works for me! I'll pick you up then ."

"Okay Bye!"

"Bye"

I quickly put on a cute outfit and pit my hair on a high pony before curling it and putting on light makeup. before I realized it was time to go. I hobbled down stairs and waited for him to knock. I heard a gentle knock on the door I pulled it open just in time to see Luke punch Ryder.
