Terrified to live

I woke up alone. I knew Luke left to go to the set. I got out of bed and went into the bathroom. I got in the shower and washed myself. I got out and dried my body then put my hair in the towel. I went to the bag I took from my house and pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and a loose tank top. I brushed my hair and teeth, then went in the kitchen to eat. While I was eating someone in the apartment above Luke's slammed a door. I screamed. I don't think I could be here alone. I quickly ate then went outside and hailed a cab. I quickly said the address and waited for the cab to pull up at the parking lot. I remembered that I needed my pass. Maybe Luke would be able to come bring me in. I payed the driver and walked up to security guard. "Hi. I'm Luke Bilyk's girlfriend. Can you have him come up here?"

"Yes. How are feeling?" He said picking up his radio.

"Better." I said and he said a few things into the microphone and a few minutes later Luke came to the gate.

"Hey. You okay?" He asked pulling me into a hug.

"I can't be at home alone. Can I stay here with you?"

"Of course." He said still holding me. He let me go and leaned down and kissed my forehead. He grabbed my hand and walked me through the gates. He took me to a private spot and asked, "what's going on?"

"Everything reminds me of what happened. I'm scared Luke. What if I can never get over it?" I said tears forming in my eyes

"Hey, you'll get over. You couldn't help what happened. I'll protect you and help you get over this." He said holding my face in his hands. A year rolled down my cheek, he kissed it away. I smiled and hugged him. "Go do what you do best." I said releasing him.

"Come with me!" He said pulling me along. I was super jumpy. I heard a siren and I huddled into Luke. "Your okay babe." He said wrapping his arm around me. I heard someone scream which caused me to scream and grab Luke. I burst into tears as he wrapped his arms around me. Someone grabbed me from behind, causing me to push myself deeper into Luke. "It's just Taylor. Your okay." He said gently rubbing my back. I grabbed hand fills of Luke's shirt, not wanting to let go. My sobs slowed to a stop and I turned to quickly wrap my arms around Taylor. I mumbled a hey then went back to Luke safe arms. "Babe, I gotta go rehearse, go with Taylor and ill find you when I'm done." He said and kissed my forehead. I walked with Taylor. Until she ran off somewhere and left me alone. I found the spot that I talked to Luke in a curled up in a ball there. It felt like I was there forever before I heard footsteps. I looked up and met Luke's eyes I jumped up and pulled him into a hug. "She just abandoned me. So, I came here. It felt safe." I said into his chest.

"I know. I'm sorry I left you."

"You had to." I said and stood on my tip ties and peck his lips. "Can we go now?" I asked.

"Yes." He said gently.
