Chapter 5

Suga's POV:

"Saranghae."

The ring tone ended. I can't believe this.

(Y/N) isn't fully aware of all the things company owners like my parents are capable of doing. I didn't want to tell her because I didn't want to worry her. We would probably be forced to date or even get married.

One thing is for sure: I am not marrying (Y/N). I would never leave Min Ji.

Without realizing it, I had been glaring at (Y/N). She had her head down and was not looking at any of us.

"Well, I guess it will be fine if we set up the both of you," my mother said.

"What?!" (Y/N) did not realize she had yelled informally.

Her parents looked like they would kill her.

I had to do something.

Ugh, aegyo.

I laughed. Everyone turned to look at me.

I walked over to (Y/N) and hugged her. I may not like her romantically, but she was thrown into this mess only because of her parents. "You're so cute."

I released her from the hug. The adults seemed pleased.

Good. Now she won't be yelled at.

"You should probably go on a date right now," My father said.

(Y/N) looked at he with a clueless expression. She seems so cute. Wait. No.

"Sure," I grabbed her hand, "Let's go, (Y/N)."

I walked out of the room somewhat dragging her behind me. I didn't want her to feel any worse than she probably did.

(Y/N)'s POV:

Yoon Gi dragged me out of the mansion.

"I'm sorry," I said.

"Why?" He looked at ne with a puzzled expression.

"Because you're being forced to protect me," I said.

"Don't worry about it," he smile, "It's an Oppa's job to help his yeodonsaeng."

I smiled.

"Are you okay?!" Yoon Gi asked panicked.

"Yeah, why?"

"You're crying!"

"What?!" I touched my eyes. I was!

I suddenly let go of all my emotions in front of him. He hugged me tightly.

"What's wrong?" He asked soothingly.

"It's just that the only reason I'm here is because my grandfather asked me to. I don't even want to be here." I continued crying.

"You know, you're here to protect your family's legacy."

"I know, but will I ever get to do what I want?"

"No."

He was blunt about it, but I appreciate the honesty.

"Yoon Gi, I was thinking," I didn't know how to ask, "Do you think our parents would go to the extreme to marry us?"

"Maybe."

I hugged him tighter. He made me feel slightly better at the fact that everything in my like would now be controlled. Slightly.

"(Y/N) promise me something."

"Sure."

"You will complete everything your grandfather asked you to do."

I smiled, "Yes."
