Chapter 19

(Y/N)'s POV:

J-Hope drives us to the restaurant in silence. I'm too nervous to say anything. Yoon Gi constantly looks over at me and laughs.

"Yah! Stop!" I yell out flustered.

"Why? Can a guy not look at the girl he likes?" He smirks.

I get so embarrassed that I don't know how to reply. He laughs again.

We finally arrive at the restaurant after a while.

"Don't open your door!" Yoon Gi walks to my side of the door.

He opens the door on my side and extends his hand to me.

I take his hand and walk out of the car to see endless flashing.

"This is surprising," I say loud enough so only he can hear.

"We're rich. That's a good enough reason for them to show up," he laughs.

"Does it even matter we're still teens?"

"No."

We walked inside of an empty restaurant.

Jin greeted us, "Welcome to the Kim family restaurant, I will be your waiter today."

The dinner was going along perfectly. We were having a great conversation as we ate.

"Hello, kids," the four adults called parents greeted us.

"Hello," we both responded dryly.

"We're here to just see how the date is going," Yoon Gi's father said.

"We will take our leave now," my father said.

Yoon Gi chuckled, "They're here to make make sure I don't mess up."

"Yoon Gi Oppa!" A loud yell echoed through the restaurant.

Yoon Gi's attitude immediately darkened.

  "Oppa! Where have you been?! I missed you," she said as she reached our table.

Yoon Gi stood up glaring at her.

Min Ji immediately pressed her chest against his, "Why are you here with that bitch?" She said in a jealous tone.

"Shut up. She's a beautiful young lady. If anything, you're the only bitch I see."

Min Ji scoffed, "I broke up with Tae Bin just for you. I'll let you date me again."

Yoon Gi laughed, "What did I ever see in you?"

"Well, I'm beautiful, smart and pretty."

"No, you see that girl," he pointed at me," She's beautiful, kind, smart, pretty, and knows how to annoy me with her comebacks." He smiled at me.

I was nervous, so I stayed quiet, but without thinking I said, "I thought you were supposed to be complimenting me!"

He laughed at me and winked. I just blushed at his actions.

Min Ji was angered, "You belong to me!"

"I don't belong to you. It saddens me to have ever kissed you."

"That girl," Jin said as he pointed at Min Ji.

A couple of guards guided her to exit the restaurant.

After the commotion ended, there was a long silence.

"Yoon Gi, are you okay?" I asked nervously.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Yoon Gi asked.

"Well, you used to love her," I began.

Yoon Gi stood up, "(Y/N), stand up."

"What?" I asked confuse but I do as he says.

He walked over to me and hugged me.

"(Y/N), it's true, I used to believe I was in love with Min Ji, but I now realize I never was. It was just me dating a girl I knew my parents wouldn't want me to date. I managed to lie to myself and convince myself that I liked her. I think the only girl I've ever really liked is you. Everything I said earlier is true." Yoon Gi closed the space between us and kissed me. His lips were warm and soft. He broke the kiss and put his head on my shoulder. "I never thought of her when I was with you."

We were both blushing.

Yoon Gi continued, "Tonight, I was supposed to ask you to marry me, but I want to ask something else."

"I don't think I have a choice on the marriage part," we both laughed.

"I want you to marry me, but I want us to start as a couple. Will you be my wife girlfriend?"

I laughed at his comment, "Yes, husband boyfriend."

Yoon Gi smiled widely and kissed me again.
