If I was the one to care and love you.

But I'm not.

A wet drop rolls down my window, as it does my face.

Maybe I'll love myself somewhere different.

I'll love where I'm wanted.

To keep my heart to myself.

To hold the compass as I move.

I'll stand on my own.

I can make my decisions.

My eyes can see the world without you candy striking it.

The colors of the world will swirl.

I'll hang on to this spinning world.

How high or low, I'll find were I'm wanted,

with this little compass of mine.

Where I'm wanted and clearly not here.

I'll see you through the tears and rivers.

I'll find my way somewhere new.

This little compass of mine awaits.

I'll love myself with passion and love so deep.

Unlike yours which was bittersweet.

I'm not coming back.

This little compass of mine leads the way.

It's just not pointing your way.
