If I had to compare you to the weather, you would always be sunshine. Just like the sun, you know how to brighten even my gloomiest days. You know how to thaw the ice from around my heart and make me feel warm again. And like the sun, you have the audacity to peek through even the darkest of clouds and allow your light to be known.
And if I had to compare you to the seasons, I'd compare you to spring. It's temperate, but not scorching, just like you. You provide warmth, but not enough that you'd burn me or cause me harm. And like the season, you are full of new life and optimism, and hope, because when I'm with you I can finally feel the sunshine on my face, and the warmth in my heart after a very long bitter winter.
