Chapter 1 - The Sleepover Begins.

The bell rang.
Caitlen and Ariana got their school bags and started to walk home. It was a Friday afternoon and Caitlen was sleeping at Ariana's house.
'32 Corsant Road.. were home!' Said Ariana
They both walked in the door.
'Ariana, is that you?' her mother asked.
'no mum.. its a killer coming to kill you....' she sighed.
Her mum chuckled.
The girls walked up the hallway and into Ariana's bedroom. Ariana was a girly-girl, she loved pink. Her walls were pink, her bed spread was pink, her wardrobe was pink, she even had a pink laptop.
'Your rooms very..um..pink' Caitlen said.
Yes! Dont you love it? Ariana exclaimed.
'um..sure' Caitlen sighed.
'So..' Ariana sat down on her silky pink bed 'It's five o'clock, what do you want to do?'
'Lets make a cake' She said in a quiet voice.
'Ok, we have chocolate, vanilla, raspp... lets go look in the cupboard' Ariana said.
They walked in the kitchen to find a sweet scent hovering around, in the oven were meringues.
'Mum! When are these ready, were starving!' Ariana yelled.
'Twenty minutes' Ariana's mum walked out with a big pile of washing. 'I'm just going to the shops now, are you girls hungry, would you like me to buy you a snack while im out?' Her mum asked.
'We're gonna make a cake now, but can you buy two pi....wait' Ariana stopped. 'Do you want a pie?'
'sure' Caitlen said.
'Yeh, two pies please mum' Ariana asked.
'Ok, well i'll be going now, you girls have fun making cakes, and dont burn the house down...please' her mum said as she walked out the door
Caitlen opened the cooking book and read out the recipe:
Vanilla Cake
~ 1 cup of Plain Flour
~ 1/2 a cup white sugar
~ 2 eggs
~ 1/3 of a cup of water
~ 2 Tablespoons of Vanilla Essence

Untensils;
Tablespoon
Measuring Cup
Medium Bowl
Wooden Spoon
Cake Tin
Butter (Greasing)

' Right, do you want to get out the ingredients while I get all the utensils?' Ariana asked.
'Alright' Said Caitlen.
While Ariana was getting out the utensils and Caitlen getting the ingredients her mum came home. The steaming hot meaty pies filled the house with a pleasant aroma. Ariana's mum put down the pies on the bench. Ariana and Caitlen dived into the bag and grabbed out a pie each.
'Thanks mum' Ariana said.
Caitlen went into the cupboard to get two plates, she handed one to Ariana.
'Thanks' Ariana said taking a bite of her pie. 'Oww hot hot!'
Caitlen chuckled.
'Mum! Whats for dinner?' Ariana yelled.
'I was thinking you two could get a pizza each, have you already eaten those pies?' her mum said.
'Yes! We were starving, well.. I still am' Ariana said.
'Ok, what toppings do you girls want? Well, I know Ariana wants Hawaiian..' her mum said.
Ariana laughed. 'Yep'
'Can I please have Surpreme?' said Caitlen.
'Of course Caitlen, now girls do you really still want to make the cake or I could rent out a movie for you?' said her mum.
'Lets just get out a movie, were coming mum, wait' Ariana said.
Caitlen turned off the oven and then went to go help Ariana pack away all the untensils and ingredients. The girls got their bags and walked out the door and into the car.
'Ewww! Yuck! Ariana shreiked. Theres still burger rings in here from when Thomas was here!' Thomas is Ariana's older brother who is on a trip to France at the moment.
Other than the stale burger rings sitting in the back seat, Ariana's car was quite decent for her little family. When Ariana was four, her dad passed away in a car accident, so it was just Ariana, her mum, and her older brother Thomas. They owned a 2012 model Black Getz. Arianas mum started the car and off they went. On the way there, it started to rain. Pitter patter, pitter patter, the rain went, falling on the car roof.
'Uh, why does it have to rain now?' Ariana said.
Ariana's mum grabbed her phone and dialled 9250 8807.
'Hello, can I just get one Hawaiian, and one supreme, both mid base please. Oh and actually, what should I get?' her mum whispered to herself 'and one meat lovers please.'
