Chapter 2 - The Video Shop

Her mum stopped the car 'were here!'

The girls hopped out of the car.

'movie time! I was thinking something scary Ariana? What do you want to get out? Caitlen said.

'Yes, horror' Ariana said walking into the video shop.

'Ooooh! Nightmare on Kelm Street!' Caitlen said.

'Omg! Yes! Shenae said she saw that and she said it was scary' Ariana said jumping up and down.

Caitlen grabbed the movie off the shelf. The girls brought it to Ariana's mum.

'Really girls? You know I watched this as a kid, and I was having nightmares for months' Her mum said.

'Yeh yeh mum' Ariana said.

Her mum chuckled as she walked up to the counter.

'Just this one please.' Her mum said.

The lady took the movie and scanned it.

'Three dollars please' the lady said.

Ariana's mum handed over the money, grabbed the movie, and began walking out the door.

'Mum, wait! We need popcorn, and lollies, and drinks!' Ariana yelled.

Her mum sighed. 'Alright grab a bag of popcorn, a bag of lollies each and a drink each.'

'Thankyou' Caitlen and Ariana said.

Ariana got the popcorn. 'Hmm, what lollies should I get?' She grabbed some sour worms off the shelf. Caitlen got some milk bottles of the shelf. They both headed to the fridge and grabbed vanilla coke off the shelf.

'Put it on the counter girls' her mum said getting out her purse again.

'23 dollars and 45 cents thanks' the lady said.

'Woah that's expensive' Ariana said.

'Mhm you see my point...' Said her mum.

They walked out with their movie and snacks and hopped into the car.
