Laurance x Aphmau (MCD)

I found the first paragraph or so of this in a book I WAS going to write. So, I just put it in here for a oneshot. Sorry if this is different then my usual writing.

Aphmau's POV
I was sitting in a little clear in in the woods. The wind blowing slightly, the sun was shining, it was a perfect day. I was laying down looking up at the sky. I closed my eyes and absorbed the sunlight. A couple minutes later, I hear somebody above my head, it was Laurance.

"L-Laurance! Oh my Irene you scared me!
He was on his knees behind me, looking down on me his face a few feet from mine.
"Haha.. Hello Aphmau, enjoying the day?"
"Yes, I am actually." I said sitting up. I didn't turn around face him. "Heh" I heard him say behind me. All of a sudden their is a pair of strong arms wrapping around my waist. "Laurance? What are you doing?" He didn't reply but instead he sat behind me and pulled me closer to him. "L-Laurance?-" I said before being cut off. "Shh.. Just.. Let me enjoy this.." He said putting his head into the crook of my neck.

       I sat there. Kind of uncomfortable with the situation at hand. But after a few minutes I gave in and relaxed. I could feel him smile when I did.

Five minutes later I decided to ask him if he was alright. "Laurance?" I asked coming away from his grip and turning to him, "Are... Are you alright?" He just smiled and shook his head slightly. "No, I'm not alright," he said semi-laughing. I looked to him with concern. "What's wrong? You know you can talk to me, right? You always can.." I said looking to him. He just put his hand on my left shoulder and still looked down on the ground sitting in front of me. A slight breeze made this moment peaceful and relaxing. "Heh, yeah I know..." He said, "It's just that... Things have been bothering me. Just small things that I'd usually not get upset over.. It's just that they are. I don't know how to control this but it's been horrible lately. Plus ONTOP of this I've been having vivid dreams of the nether at night. So that's obviously a huge flag that this all has to do with my shadow knight.." He said looking at the ground putting his head in his hands.

I feel bad for him, I'll be totally honest. But I don't know how I can help him. Maybe meditating...?

"Would some sort of meditation help? Or maybe we could ask Lucinda-" I tried saying before being cut off.

"Tried it." He said shaking his head.

"How about...." I said thinking for a moment.

"Usually my dreams are of happiness, if shadow knights don't have happiness they'll start becoming corrupt.. I think that's what may be happening to me with just.. Not with happiness but.. Just emotions.." He said looking to me in the eyes.

"Maybe we could have a party? Or have a small celebration? We could go and do something fun as our small group or-" I said before being cut off by Laurance, again..

"Love." He said sternly. "I need love. That's.. What I need.. It's not the intimate kind of love just like.. A family member sort of.. I don't know, maybe somebody who likes to be around me and stuff?" He said scratching the back of his head a little embarrassed at the situation.

Okay I'll be honest, lately I've been falling for a person. Just so happened to be Laurance. It was a semi-big love I guess. But if he rejected I'd be able to get over it. It's not something that I'd kill myself to have.

"To simplify it more.. What I mean is just like.. A family member kind of way-- or like a um.. Girlfriend or something.. That's just what I need to help me control this..." Laurance said.

"What about Cadenza? I'm sure she'd love to help you." I suggested. Laurance just shook his head again.

"She's got Lord business. I wouldn't want to bother her." He said looking up to me.

I got a sudden pit in my stomach.

Me.

He wants the person to be me. Or atleast I'm the last option.

"Oh.." I said realizing what he meant.

"So uh.." Laurance said sounding a little uneasy, "would you like to go on a date with me?"

I didn't want to be rude and say no. Obviously! I don't have to take this personally. Just... like we are hanging out! Yeah! I'll try to take it that way..

"I would love to." I smiled

"Great, let's go now!" Laurance said making me stand up and dragged me by the arm almost making me fall over.

"H-Hey! Slow down! It's hard to run in a dress you know!" I said stumbling all over the place.

"Heh, sorry, we're late!" He exclaimed as we got onto the gravel road.

We arrived at a cliff, it was overlooking the ocean towards Bright Port. It was midday so it was still bright outside.

When we arrived, there was a small seating area set up. "What's this? Did you plan this out?" I asked questioned.

"Oh, heh. This was always set up. This is kind of my little relaxation area when I'm stressed. I was going to recommend you to use it but you probably would've forgotten to come to it." Laurance said releasing my arm and sitting on one of the cushions.

It was a calm little overhang. There was a tree leaned over just enough for three people to fit underneith it. It was almost like a little cave-- just not deep.

I sat next to Laurance and he hesitatingly put his arm around my waist. It was like a spark when he touched me, my stomach randomly decided to get butterflies. And my face decided to turn red. GREAT.

"So, how ha e you been lately?" He asked turning to me.

"G-Great!" I stumbled, "H-How about you?"

"Hah. You could be Garroth's long lost sister." Laurance laughed at me.

"H-Hey!" I yelled at him smacking his arm, "I'm just flustered! This is just so different.."

"Want to feel something else that's different?" He smirked at me.

"Hm?" I said turning to him before I was kissed very passionately on the lips.

"I don't know if you're mad or happy or what but-- I'm just going to go now! Have fun with your thoughts.. Uh.. Bye!" Laurance stammered before running off.

What an adorable jerk.

Woo! This took me like 3 days to write, I'm so sorry! I've been really busy and stressed because my grandma had a heart attack and recently has had bypass surgery. So I've been busy trying to get my mind off of things. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
