the question of the oneshot: what country are you from?? I was looking at demographics and saw that there were people from all over the world! I'm curious if that's true or false.

my answer: I am from the United States. If you can guess from where, I'll follow you if I don't already know you! If you do know me well, don't ruin it. :(

   "You look awesome, baby brother!" Garroth's excited voice chirped behind me as I fixed my tie.

   "Do you think Kawaii~Chan will think the same?" I asked Garroth with an unsure tone.

   "Positive." He said, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder and sending me a large smile.

  This was me and Kawaii~Chan's 5th date. I had never had the major feeling of love. In the past, I had developed some feelings for Aphmau; but they never became a reality. With Kawaii~Chan, I feel like I have a chance. Somebody who understands, trusts, and has feelings towards me. She was everything I wanted in a girl, and I could confidently say I loved her after talking with her more. She was my soon-to-be everything.

   "Woah, Zane! Looking good!" Laurance said as I walked through our living room.

  "Thanks," I said back, trying to contain myself thinking of what KC would think of my outfit.

  I got into my car and headed across the street to pick up KC, we were going to a dance.

  As soon as I parked, KC came running outside. She was wearing a long, fluffy pink dress, and she looked absolutely stunning.

  "Hey, Zane!" Kawaii~Chan said hopping into my car, her cheeks reddening at the sight of me.

   "H-hey!" I said stuttering a little. I mean, who wouldn't? She looked amazing, and she is amazing. I wouldn't want to say anything to offend her or make her think of me weirdly. "Ready to go?"

"Ready as I'll ever be! This is going to be so fun! I've never been to a ball before, and I can't believe you got tickets!" KC said excitedly as she clapped her hands.

"I don't even know how I got those tickets, but I'm glad I got them and that we can go to our first ball together." I said glancing at KC and giving her a slight smile.

Over the past few weeks, KC had encouraged me to show my face more and embrace the freckles I had. So, I did. I only wore my mask out at public events, but tonight was different. I wanted to show KC that I could leave my mask off, show her a smile, and show that I trusted her. I think it was working, because she seemed so happy to find me with my mask off and letting loose when I was around her. She was one of the two people I feel that I could do that around, and I'm proud to say I love her for it.

  As we walked into the venue, we both noticed the beautiful mood lighting. It was dark pink and blue lights, giving the room a romantic and peaceful mood. I looked over to Kawaii Chan, she was absolutely stunning. I didn't want to take my eyes off of her for a second.

"Want to go dance?" KC said taking my hand.

"I would love to." I said squeezing her hand as she led me to the dance floor, where we danced to the current song playing.

"It's so pretty here. It feels like a dream." KC said as she looked around the room, and then into my eyes.

"Well," I started, getting ready to be smooth, "I can think of something prettier than this room."
