"I think she's just clumsy, Dakota." I say as we sit in the eye doctor's office.

"Her ballet teacher thinks she has a problem with depth perception." My cousin tells me. "Besides June is always running into things."

"So am I, doesn't mean my depth perception is off." I remind her. "It means I'm fucking clumsy."

"Maybe you should get your eyes checked too, since we're here and all." She offers and I roll my eyes.

"I don't need glasses, I can see fine." I assure her.

"You're so goddamn stubborn." Dakota states and I cross my arms.

"Must run in the family." I mutter.

I love Dakota to death, I mean she's one of the few blood family members I have left. Our moms died not that far apart and she kinda filled in that motherly gap. That's always kinda stuck, like I'm going to be twenty two on my birthday and she still makes sure that I ate when I see her. The other thing with Dakota is that she thinks she knows what's best for me but I'm not sure how she can know that if she's only nine months older than me.

"Can you just quickly get your eyes checked? My eye doctor is really good and won't mind." Dakota explains and I go cross eyed.

"Dakota, I can see fine." I remind her.

"You might be able to see and read fine but your depth perception might be off." She says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm getting tired of hearing depth perception." I mutter and she looks at me. "Fine!"

Within the hour both June and I have depth perception problems and we both get fitted for glasses. June looks adorable in her little glasses and I feel stupid in mine. On the way back to Dakota and Poison's I keep looking at myself in the sun visor mirror thing. I push them up my nose and groan.

"I look horrendous." I mumble. "Nikki and everyone else are going to laugh their asses off as soon as they lay eyes on me."

"You look great in them, Dallas. Nikki will tell you the exact same thing." Dakota says supportively and I roll my eyes.

"Don't worry, Aunt Dolly, you look bootiful!" June squeals from her car seat and I smile.

"Beautiful, sweetie." My cousin corrects.

"Beautiful." June says to herself.

"I think I'm going to order contacts, if I get in a rugby club here then I can't play with glasses on." I say. "Then once I get rich and famous I'll get eye fixing surgery." I laugh and Dakota rolls her eyes.

"You might like your glasses, Dall, you never know." She tells me.

"Maybe." I shrug and push my glasses up into my hair.

We go over to the house and Poison is just kinda hanging out. Before I even get in the door CC and Dakota are bitching at each other. I don't even know what about but it's making Junie cry. I go over to her and pick her up, I wipe her tears and she pull my glasses down over my eyes again.

"Want to go get ice cream, little one?" I ask her and she lights up.

"Uh huh." She sniffs.

We go outside to my car and drive to the closest ice cream place. We stand in line and order ice cream before sitting down in a booth.

I walk with Mick, Vince, and Tommy  into the bar hoping to find my girlfriend but I don't see her. Dakota and CC are fighting behind the bar while Bret, Bobby, and Rockett are shooting pool. There's no sign of Dallas or June.

"Well fuck you!" CC yells and storms off to the pool table with his band.

"That looked like fun." Mick says as we sit down at the bar. "What was that about?"

"Everything." Dakota sighs. "He's not taking me being pregnant again well."

"Fucking rabbits." Tommy mutters and Dakota hits him in the head with the cloth she was using to wipe down the bar.

"I see you have a mean streak in you too." Vince laughs. "Must run in the family."

"Does Dallas know?" Mick wonders.

"I knew I forgot to tell her something! I was too busy fighting with her about depth perception." She admits. "Speaking of which both June and Dallas have glasses now, don't be dicks to either of them!"

"Dallas has glasses now?" I ask and Dakota studies me. "Yes or no question, I didn't say it was a bad thing."

"Yeah, they look really good on her." My girlfriend's older cousin explains.

Let me get something straight, Dallas is a complete knock out and she's the greatest person on this planet. I can't wait to see my beautiful girl with glasses on because I'm betting that see looks hotter than all hell.

"I can't wait to see them." I smile and Dakota looks relieved. "Where is my girl and your daughter anyways?"

"I don't know about your girl but Dallas and June went out somewhere because June doesn't like to watch CC and I fight." She explains. "Dallas is supposed to work tonight so for that I'm at a loss."

We drink and talk for a little while before the back door opens and Dallas holding onto June who looks to be asleep. Dallas' new glasses and pushed up in her hair and I smile when I see her.

"Mama." June says sleepily and Dakota goes over to her.

"Did you feed her?" She wonders like a worried mother and my girlfriend rolls her eyes.

"Yes Dakota, I'm completely incompetent." Dallas says as Dakota takes back her daughter.

"What did she eat?" Dakota wonders.

"I love you Dakota but I can't talk with you when you're all mama bear." Dallas says simply and walks over to the bar.

"Is that code for you let her eat take out " Dakota wonders and Dallas smiles.

"Ding ding ding." She laughs as she makes it over to me. "Hey babe." Dallas says and kisses my lips.

"Hey." I say as I take her glasses out of her hair.

"Oh yeah, those." She says quietly and I smile.

"What do they look like?" I wonder.

"Horrible." Dallas says and I shake my head.

"Not on you, babe." I say and gently put them over her eyes.

Dallas drops her gaze then meets my eyes again and I smile. She does really look beautiful with them on.

"You are really beautiful, Dall." I say and she grins.

"You are too, Nik." Dallas laughs and kisses my lips again.
