Your optimism is a charade
A flaw hardwired into who you are
The burlap has covered your eyes so long that the intensity of the world is lost
Is it Never to be gained?
It's not something interchangeable
Squinting and relying on what you know
Isn't enough
The world painted
Lacking colors
Never known to your existence
But the truth may be taught
Through long lessons in life
Through experience
Through explanation
Ripping off the burlap
Collecting pieces of the world
Never known to your existence
Becoming aware
Not fearing the world As a whole
But embracing it
The journey is painfully treacherous
New passage ways and mental mazes with no clear end
The commitment, the dedication
Is no simple feat

This is why The masses
Continue in their ignorant ways
Not pursuing
Not trying
Just believing the world is burlap
