Straight Enough

Prologue

Nag uusap si Vince at Jane tungkol sakanilang summer vacation papunta ng school cafeteria. Hindi nila namalayan na nasa cafeteria na pala sila. Nangungunang tumakbo si Jane sa pila at hinila si Vince kasama niya.

Vince POV

"Vince lets go, gutom na ko, na-stress ata ang utak ko sa mga assignments na binigay ng lecturer namin. First day tapos napaka rami na agad essays" Halatang gutom na gutom na si Jane

"Yes, Madame Jane, if you weren't my best friend I will really not go to this cafeteria"

"So how was your first 3 subjects na wala ako? Is it good? Giving you a hard time? Or sakto lang? And may gwapo ba sa class mo, yun bagay sakin?" 

Pasagot na ako sa tanong ni Jane, Nang bigla nalang may sumabat...

"What do you want to have Mister?" An old café person asks

"Well I would like to have,"  Hmmm, ano nga ba ang makain ngayon lunch? Paturo na talaga ako ng kakainin ko ng biglang sumabat si Jane

"Ladies first Vince, where are your manners? And you haven't even answered my questions (laughs)" Jane says

"Oh I am sorry, I'm just really hungry, pero tinatanong pa ba yuon? Gwapo? Well, ako lang naman ang gwapo sa class, at ako lang ang babagay sayo!" Smile sabay wink kai Jane. I turned my head to check what is the sudden noise all about, and then I found out that the Grey Wolves are nearing to enter the cafeteria. Kala mo may nag aawayan eh, All of the girls were shouting and screaming the names of their crushes and favourite varsity players.

So who are the famous players of Essington's Grey wolves? Meet... Steve, the team captain who has a long pointed fine-looking nose, daig pa ang eifel tower sa tulis. Hmmm, masyadong OA ang pag ka hambing, pero Keri bells na. Craig the star player of the team, sa totoo lang pa-star player sya ng team. And here's BRAHHHH (bro's) Danielle, the basketball player next door. Siya lang naman ang ULTIMATE MAN CRUSH ko, since 2000-and late. And along with the team are the other two unknown players we don't really need to introduce at the moment.

"Hey Mister?! Can you please start choosing the meal you would have!" Sigawan ba raw ako ng personnel na to

"Oh yes I'm sorry, I would like to have an oatmeal top with fresh fruits on it, and an apple and milk for my drink" Lalaking-lalaki ata ang boses ko habang namimili ng makakain.

"Seriously Vince? Are you on a diet? You are so fit and slim now, why don't you eat pizzas or try the wraps? Then top it up with fries?" Nag mamalasakit na tanong ni Jane saakin.

"Well this is what I want, and I have to take care of my body from now on, ayaw ko na tumaba, ang hirap kaya mag papayat?" Medyo nainis ako kay Jane. Paki-elaman ba naman daw pati pag kain ko.

"Don't deprive yourself from all the good foods and desserts mister nice guy! Here's your meal, spoons on the end of the cashier" The old café person says. Nag smile nalang at wink ako kay Ate. Ate ah, paki-elamerang frog ka ah? Anong care bears niyo ba? Pero sabagay may point naman si Ate eh, pero kahit na ba?

... Forward na natin sa nakaka lokang pang yayari! Roll VTR...

After getting a spoon, napalingon ako at bigla nalang bumagal ang buong mundo ko sa nakita ko. Si Danielle lang naman ang nag pa tulala at nag pa tigil sa mondo ko. Nag pupunas ng pawis si Danielle, at tinaas nito ang kanyang jersey shirt. Lalo pang nang laki ang mga mata ko. While Jane is still in the cashier, I continue to walk and find a seat near to the varsity players lounge. I quickly run towards Danielle and gave him a man hug! Danielle kiss him me in return and...

And you guys just saw Me Day Dreaming... here's what really happens

"Ouch," I suddenly slips on the floor while carrying the meal I ordered. Geez, why am I looking at Danielle while walking, now I stumbled upon the floor of this dirty cafeteria, and everyone looks at me as the soda, and the packed lunch fell over my shirt. I am such an attention seeker, God why? This is embarrassing.

"Are you alright?" I glance up my head slowly and see a handsome young lad. He seems to be nice.

"Of course I am alright," I replied as quickly as I can. Danielle walks out to answer a call, I thought he is going to help me stand up from tripping down on the floor.

The guy handed me his hands, as a sign that he is going to help me stand up. As I was about to give my hands back for help, he slowly started to laugh, and it started to become louder and everyone is laughing at me. Some are recording it on their smartphones. Oh God what the hell...

"So you really think I am going to help you? Well stop being a wimp, your such a faggot! And by the way I am David, nice meeting you? Hmmm, Napa exhale si David Are You Gay?" David just made me look like a total loser to everyone in the cafeteria. He just humiliated me in front of everyone. My heart is pumping so quick; I feel like I am on a talk show, not to mention I feel like I am on a hot seat. David is the most ridicule person ever. Oh lord why? Lahat nag re-react, "OHHHHH"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, it was an..." I immediately took some paper towels from the tray and wipes David shirt filled with white, sticky and gooey oats (more like, alam niyo na yan). All of the students were looking at us.

"Sorry? So your saying sorry?... If you are looking on your steps properly, you would see me coming? Are you? Are you fan girl-ling? Ohhhh what do we have here people?!" David starting a fight over me, seriously? What is this man trying to prove? He can just accept my apology and move on, he's even gayer than most gays that I see on TV. Nakaka loka, first impressions last, so ano kilala nako sa pagiging lampa.

"No, I'm not fan grilling," I laugh so hard para hindi mahalat ng ibang tao, yun ang nabasa ko sa internet kapag tinanong ka about your sexuality, tumawa ka ng malakas at deny mo "please excuse me? Here let me wipe it for you, I can buy you a new shirt, and please don't make a scene here," Yun totoo halatang natatakot nako kay David, napaka hina ng sagot ko, nakaka hiya

"Why so scared little man? Let me ask you this question...Are you Gay?" David asks
