After your game you both got your stuff and left the school. Oikawa was walking you home, just like every other day, when he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and rested his head on top of yours, slightly closing his eyes.
"You ok?" you ask looking up at him.
"Mh-hmm~," he hummed in response.
'He's probably just tired,' you thought as you both continued walking.
But he was not, in fact "just tired," he was thinking about how much you got along with C/H/F, and the way he looked when you announced to him that you had a boyfriend. It was really starting to bother him.
Suddenly a familiar voice broke him away from his thoughts.
"Y/N-chan!!!"
You jumped slightly at the sudden loudness and looked across the street to see C/H/F running towards you and Oikawa.
Oikawa lifted his head from yours but kept his arm protectively around your shoulder.
"Ahh Y/N-chan I didn't know you lived over here," C/H/F said paying no attention to Oikawa.
"Yep just a few houses down," you said back.
Finally he turned his head to face Oikawa. They both made eye contact and everything went quiet. They both glared at each other as if saying, "She's mine." You, being the oblivious person you are, had no idea what was going on, but you sensed some awkward tension and decided to break it.
"Get a room you two," you said taking your phone out of your back pack.
C/H/F looked at you for a second then turned back to Oikawa and said, "You look quite tired Oikawa-san. Why don't you let me take Y/N-chan home. I do live around here after all."
"I can manage just fine," he spat back, his usual bubbly persona completely gone by now.
You glanced up at Oikawa surprised to hear his tone change so quickly.
"Oh but you look completely exhausted, are you sure you don't want me to take her off your hands?" he asked a bit too innocently.
Before anyone else could say anything you butted in.
"Look, C/H/F. You would be more than welcome to walk with us, but my place is only a few houses down, and besides Friday's are one of the only days I get to spend time with Tooru. The rest of the days we both have practice."
Oikawa looked over at C/H/F triumphantly, sticking his tongue out.
"It's fine you two can have the day together, but please let me walk you home on Monday?" he asked.
'Is this guy serious?' Oikawa thought.
"Sure, if you really want to," you replied looking down at your phone. While you did this C/H/F glared at Oikawa and stuck his tongue out.
"Well, I'll be going now. Bye Y/N-chan see ya on Monday!" (S)he shouted after hugging you.
You and Oikawa both watched him run away and then continue walking back to your house.
~~~~~~~~~~
Over the past 2-3 months C/H/F walked you home every Mon-Thurs. Sometimes you guys even stopped at a restaurant or cafe to eat together, and hang out at your house afterwords.
This made Oikawa jealous. Very jealous.
He would try everything to keep you away from C/H/F (I'll leave what exactly to your imagination). He would spend every minute he could with you, but it wasn't enough to keep him/her away from you. You seemed to be getting closer to each other by the minute, and it made Oikawa miserable.
Then finally the day came that it was time for C/H/F to move away again. And boy was Oikawa happy.
~~~~~~~~~~
One Saturday you and Oikawa were hanging out after your practices when you heard a knock on the door. You removed your feet from the table across from you, picked up a sleeping Oikawa's head from your lap and gently placed it down on the couch, and answered to door.
You smiled as you opened the door, seeing that it was C/H/F.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" you asked.
"I have to talk to you," he said with both a serious tone and face.
"Sure, come in," you said stepping aside to let him in.
"Is Oikawa-san here?" he asked nervously.
"Yeah he's sleeping on the couch," you nodded in the direction of the couch.
"Ok I'll make this quick then,"he started.
"My dad got another job transfer so I'm moving again. Far away so this might be the only chance I have to say this."
Oikawa slowly started to wake up, but heard C/H/Fs voice and decided to pretend to keep sleeping. All the while he was eves dropping .
"IlikeyouandIknowyouhave aboyfriend soI'mnotgonnamake amove on you becauseiseehowmuchyouloveeachotherbutIjustwantedyoutoknowthatbeforeIleave." He said this while staring at the ground with his eyes closed.
You stood there shocked. You didn't know what to say so you stepped forward and hugged him/her.
"Thank you for telling me. And I'll miss you, and I know the time zones are probably going to be different but don't hesitate to call me," you said as you pulled away.
"Ok," he nodded, "I'll leave now. Bye Y/N-chan. And with that he walked out of the door.
You didn't do anything, but just stood there. This was when Oikawa decided to "wake up" and he got up from the couch and walked over to you.
He wrapped his arms around your waist and said, "So, they're finally moving away huh?"
You turned around and looked up at him.
"So, you were eves dropping huh?" you asked in a mocking tone. You both stared into each others eyes when suddenly it dawned on you.
"Oh my god. You were jealous!" you smirked.
He looked away, "Who, me? Jealous? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha-yes."
