Brianna had changed out of her comfy clothes and into something a little more, as Laura would say, badass. Although, in reality, Brianna had just thrown on the first things she saw since she didn't have time to waste on choosing the 'perfect' outfit. She was wearing black skinny jeans with rips in and a black crop top. After pulling on her leather jacket and combat boots she sprinted outside.
Glancing around she cursed to herself. Brianna had forgotten about the fact Derek had taken the car. I really need a car of my own, she thought win a sigh before deciding to jog through the preserve. Granted it wasn't the safest route considering all of the hunters who would gladly kill her now they know she's with Derek but it was the quickest route to the school.
On her journey some worrying thoughts traveled into her brain. Like for instance, what would she actually do if she got to the school and it had already happened? Or worse what would she do if she got there as it was happening? Even with the all possible situations banging in her head she didn't let them in and carried on running to the school.
In fact she was getting there pretty fast and it seemed like nothing would slow her down. Then she reached the road. Gasping for a breath she stopped running right in front of a sign. "Roadworks?" She muttered in disbelief, bending over in pain from running so far. "You're kidding."
Shaking her head she thought, I'm so out of shape. With that thought in her brain she clicked her fingers, using the magic to regain some energy. In hindsight it may of been a waste of magic so she just thanked her lucky stars that what she was born with didn't have a daily limit. You'd be surprised but some of her kind do have a limit but she got lucky with her dad being who he is, though she'd never thank him.
Just as she was preparing herself to parkour over the roadworks a car pulled up. "Brianna?" A male voice questioned so she turned around.
"Jackson? Is that you?" She replied, walking to the car and peering inside. Not only was it Jackson but Allison and Lydia were also in there too. "Hey guys," she said before pursing her lips.
"Where are you heading? Has Stiles text you to meet him at the school too?" Allison asked from the backseat.
Brianna shook her head, "Wait Stiles text you to meet him at the school?" She asked after a moment.
"No, Scott did." The brunette stated which made the blonde look at her phone. No text from Scott saying he's gotten his phone fixed and no text from Stiles either. It puzzled her as to why Scott would text her that. It also worried her as well. "Why?"
"Yeah, why does it look like you know something we don't?" Lydia finally spoke.
"I- I don't." Brianna lied. "Can you give me a ride to the school?"
Not giving a damn about the fact Brianna could see his face Jackson sent Lydia an annoyed look. Obviously he wasn't very keen on picking up another teenage girl. Lydia on the other hand seem to send Jackson her own annoyed look, but she seemed annoyed at him. The look sent a wave of pride inside of Brianna at the fact Lydia Martin was sticking up for her. Not something that Brianna would get used to easily.
After a moment of talking to his girlfriend purely in facial expressions Jackson got out of his car and gestures for Brianna to climb in. "Lydia gets what Lydia wants." He stated after Brianna thanked him.
"Fair enough," she replied under her breath, sliding into the back seat next to Allison. Brianna opened her mouth but her brunette friend shook her head then showed her the text message. Brianna smirked at the fact Allison knew what she was going to ask.
Lydia turned to the back seats and started at Brianna, "How come you're going to the school if you didn't get a text?"
"Intuition?" Brianna replied after a seconds thought. It was meant to come out as a firm answer but it was more like she was asking Lydia if that was the right answer. The girl stared at her suspiciously before turning around as her boyfriend spoke.
