I was happy for Clare but also a little jealous....After we broke up she abstained from getting into a relationship and even though it had been a long time since we were together I cared for her in a sort of strange way.

"Anyway Clare I need to get going, Im due back at work and two of my work colleagues are currently helping do some menial tasks for a friend"

We both got up together and hugged, I had enjoyed meeting her after all this time....

"Holly...........I know this is a bit forward but would you have dinner with me?"

"Im not sure that's a good idea and besides.............what about Ana?"

"She will be ok with this.......besides as my business partner I could invite her along too"

"No, I don't fancy an interrogation from the girlfriend of my ex-girlfriend"

"As you wish, so you will meet me then?"

"Of course........when?"

"How about this evening?"

"OK I can do that......where?"

"How about my place 7.30?"

"Your place...........Im not sure"

"Oh come on Holly...........It's just dinner and a chat?"

"OK 7.30 it is"

We hugged again and I made my farewell until later...

"So Miss Grainger, did you manage to sort out the problem you had"

"Its Holly...........As Im sure Clare will mention to you.........we have some 'history'"

"Ah ok........a former lover?"

"Not exactly"

"Its fine..........I have nothing to worry about, I and Clare are getting married this year and then our union will be completed"

"Im happy for you...........I really am, Clare deserves to be happy"

"Regrets?"

"None"

I walked out with a bottle of pills which I was advised to take straight away.

I crossed the road to the pharmacy and purchased a bottle of water and took two of the small green pills, then I crossed back over and took my car back to the office.

Within half an hour I was back at the office and quickly exited to retrieve my two colleagues from the coffee house...

I opened the door and watched in amusement, the two girls were working their socks off and looked to be having a great time in their new roles....

At last I saw Becca and turned to her.

"How have they been?"

"Oh Holly how nice to see you........Thank you it's been great to have them"

"Well a little bit of grafting never hurt anyone"

"That's true............How you doing girls?"

They turned to look in my direction and smiled......A thin sheen of sweat was evident on the shirts of them both but they looked happy...

"Come to rescue us"

"Of course.....I will join you shortly"

I watched the two of them link hands and walk toward Becca

The three of them hugged and then the two girls left to go back to the office

"This business has confused even me....It's been so busy and I am seriously considering hiring another member of staff......any chance you could spare Emily?"

I smiled at her and we sat at the nearest table, she brought two coffees and cake...

"How's Leah?"

"Not so good..........I left her at home she looked very pale"

"Oh no, what's wrong?"

"I don't know.......she was fine after yesterday"

"Really?"

"Yes really Holly.......Leah has been transformed by how meeting you has changed her life, for the better"

I had to smile and I laid my hand upon hers

"What Leah has done for me too has to be commended.....I've never felt so alive but..."

"Yes Holly what's wrong?"

"I went to see the Doctor because I've been suffering some unusual side effects"

"What side effects"

"You might think this sounds silly but I keep having erotic visions, they started as dreams but have started to manifest themselves in real time"

Becca stopped what she was doing and looked at me with genuine concern...

"And was the doctor able to help you?"

"She has some ideas, I've got to go back in a few days"

We drank our coffee and had a chat about the weekend events

"So Becca..........what's happening with Giles?"

She seemed a little embarrassed but then quickly composed herself

"Really good............I like him....he treats me well"

"I don't know, he seems too nice for that but you never know"

At last I got up and prepared to head back to the office, I had a lot to do especially seen as my personal assistant had been otherwise detained....

"Give my love to Leah and to a speedy recovery.......I miss her"

"I will Holly and thank you for your help today"

I hugged her one last time and walked over to resume my work
