The bus ride to school was silent for the most part, atleast between Alex and Jack. Jack had attempted numerous of times to make even the slightest bit of eye contact with the other boy but never seemed to reach his goal. Alex kept his sight locked onto his lap, where he fidgeted with his shirt seam.

As the bus came to a stop once again, Alex stood up to the aIsle without a word patiently waiting for the long line to the exit. Jack stood up slowly leaning his back over the seat, observing Alex with little determination. Why was the boy so self observed?

Jack couldn't help but to notice the exposed back print of the shirt Alex was wearing, because his bookbag remained in his arms cuddled to his chest. The print read "AMERICAN IDIOT" in black giant slimy letters, over a very familiar black and white face of Billie Joe Armstrong, slightly hidden under the scarf he was wearing. Jack grinned to himself at the sight of one of his idols, but before he could question the boy and approve of his music taste, Alex unexpectedly turned around to face Jack, and with very drop of self confidence he had. He looked him in his eyes and let out a shaky "Thanks for letting me sit with you"

Time stood still.

Jack felt as if the whole world had stopped turning in that very moment they made eye contact.

He felt a chill spread through his spine at the sudden sound of his resignated voice. His last breath getting caught at the back of his lungs. It's as if he suddenly forgot how to function, Getting lost in those beautiful orbs of hazel brown eyes. "Woah" was all he could reply.

The line had shortened pretty fast behind them, leaving Alex to walk fast paceted towards the door. And before Jack could process it, he was the last one on the bus with a slightly annoyed bus driver.

"hurry up kid, we ain't got all day."

..

Alex stepped off the bus, the chill wind blowing though the dim strutted sky swIpIng hIs perfected and combed frInge off hIs freshly heated face. His face had heated up the second he looked the boy on the bus, in the eyes. "ahg" he sighed feeling the chill of his bare forehead. Slowly walking to the front of the building he pulled down his beanie, blindly fixing his hair to the touch. Taking a deep breath trying to calm his nerves. Unable to take control from the action he had bravely just made.

"Here bae, let me help you with that" a squeaky pitched flirty voice called out.

"huh?" was all Alex could manage to say turning to the direction of the voice before his face was attacked with cold, rock hard, tIny hands desperately working at his hair. The hands only achieving in messing up his hair even more.

"ermm no I'm fine, stop" he spewed at the preppy fake girl in front of him, swatting her hands away and pushing his beanie back in place where he likes it.

"My name is Alexa" she smiled, showing her big white teeth. with little contrast to her magenta colored lipstick. Alex took the time to see the girl front of hIm, Blonde, brown eyes. she was wearing a white spaghetti strapped shirt sliding halfway her stomach, with the word "BITCH" displayed across it, and some magenta colored short shorts to match her lipstick. "Damn Isint this girl fucking cold?" he thought.

"hello?" she shouted to his face after a few moments of silence.

" And loud".

"Alex" he said annoyed, sounding too halfhearted for her liking. Alex noticed her flinch and cleared it off with a nicer "nice to meet you."

Even though Alex clearly didn't like the girl, and could easily tell her off in the worst way possible, he kept it all to himself. He was never one to saying what's on his mind, or give opinions unless asked. Especially if they're negative or in anyway offensive. It just wasn't in his nature, of course it never stopped him from thinkin them.

He just believed that, "hey everyone's going though sometype of shit right? try not to be too much of a cunt." You never really know what some kids go home to. In the end it's better to just not add to it.

Unless they call out on you first, with no reason behind it. Or do anything offensive for that matter. Then it was all up to Alex and if his anxiety is all up for not backing him down, then there was no problem.

"So, Alex you new here? I've never seen you around?" she winked twirling a piece of hair strand between her fingers.

"yeah uh, now that you mention it.. do you know where.... he trailed off unfolding his new schedule that was mailed to his new house, from his pocket.. E216 is?"

"Yeah totes!, that's down the science hall." she exclaimed, walking Alex to the front door of the vast building ahead. And just as they stepped into the building, a group of teen girls, all dressed and looked the same as Alexa followed by a couple of guys he remembered from the bus ran up to them.

"shit gurl he cute" a dark skinned girl winked, "ooh where'd you pIck thIs one up?" one that looked almost IdentIcal to Alexa saId, In a rather seductIve voIce. "oh my god, hes adorable!" a tan skinned one shrieked pinching at Alex's cheeks, sure to leave red marks. "uhhh" Alex breathed out, noticing he was surrounded by what looked to be the popular kids.

The other guys, from the bus still making their way over to them. "fuck, fuck, fuck" he gasped at himself. His heartbeat gradually increasing. What if he fucks up? Any stupid movement and he'll be the laughing stock of the whole school for sure he thought."This is why I wanted to keep to myself god dammit. I just need to play cool."

....

Jack jumped off the bus, right foot first and landing into a giant puddle. "fuck" he giggled, both amused and pissed.

He made his way down the too familiar school path to the front door and InsIde, in hopes of catching up to the cute guy from the bus earlier. But before he made his way around, a strong arm snaked behind him wrapping itself around his waist.

" Hey zacky!" he beamed facing around, and welcoming said other boy in a tight hug.

"Hey beautiful" Zack smiled squeezing jack harder with ever second into the hug.

"Um you can let go now." Jack gasped in the too tight hug. Ignoring the comment Zack had to offer.

Zack laughed,"So c'mon, lemme see your schedule!" he grinned

"here er hold on" Jack mumbled taking off his bookbag and searching within for the bright white piece of paper.

"here"

After seconds of Zack carefully readIng all the class subjuects, room numbers and teachers slowly compareIng them to hIs own he knotted hIs eyebrows and pouted hIs bottom lIp. "awh no fair!" Zack whined

"what?"

"we only have two classes together!!, physIcs, and algebra." he grunted

Jack let out a deep laugh at Zack's reaction. "Atleast we have a class!, don't be so whiney" he smiled. obviously not as affected by said situation. "So which class to first then?"

"E216, Physics"
