It would be an understatement to say that Alex found Jack amazing. Something about him just made the shorter boy feel safe and truely comforted. His eyes were reassuring and open, warm, interested, and protecting almost. whenever he would turn to face Alex.

Alex found himself seated in his fourth period of the school day, staring off into the distance once again like he had been doing all morning long thinking about Jack.

After his physics class with Mr. Iero he had AP World history with a "ms. miller" who Alex found to be truely irritating. With her high pitched, ear molesting voice and her learning tactics of picking on quieter students. Zack, Alex noted, from his first period was there, sitting across the class from him. And whenever Alex would begin to feel a weird vibe he'd look around and find the larger boy's eyes locked on him. What he had done to deserve such a weird and intimidating vibe from him, he had no idea.

After his World History class, he had drama with a "mr.Ashby", where as soon as he entered foot first he was brutally pulled by an overly excited Alexa, dragging him to a seat in the far left corner. She has no idea how  awkward it will be sitting with a quiet social outcast.

Now Alex was in his painting class, with a "Mr. Way". He had spent who knows how much time gaping at his seriously beautiful teacher, once he had finally figured out what it was that was making him go off, it was his ring. One that Alex had seen before in fact identical, to the one he had been staring at in first period.

How fucking adorable. Mr. Way Alex had noticed was very talkative, he liked to use his hands and expression to emphasize or gesture a point. And he was very kind and open minded, Alex found his new favorite teacher.

Beginning to doze off once again, Alex began to harmonize quietly to himself"We're going down, down in an earlier round-"

"-and sugar we're going down swinging " a deeper yet familar voice finished. Alex turned to his left to see an unexpected Jack leaning over his elbow and watching Alex closely. Thinking back over to the first thirty minutes of class, Alex became tense with the thought that Jack knew just how much Alex had been thinking about him. Remembering to breath, Alex carefully harmonized back, "I'll be your number one with a bullet."

"A loaded gun complex, cock it and pull it." Jack smiled.

Alex smiled back, turning to face away anywhere but Jack's way. He giggled to himself hiding his smile in his hand.

...

It was ten minutes into lunch after Alex had collected his food from the lunch line that he stood frozen in the middle of the room with realization, that he had no where or no one to sit with.  He quickly made his way to the back right corner of the cafeteria and decided to sit in a semi filled table of what seemed to be other outcasts in fear of sitting alone and being looked as a freak.

He sat, making zero eye contact but offering a sheepish smile at the other apathetic teens, pulling out his head set skull candy headphones and listened to system of a down as he quietly ate his food.

...

After a completely silent and boring class of literature and an hour filled of the foreign alien language known as math. Alex was exhausted, slowly making his way to his bus at the front of the school.

Jack had been following behind Alex since they left 7th period, not that he thinks the shorter boy even noticed he was in that class with him considering the shorter was asleep for half of it.

Alex stood at the front of the bus, much like he had previously done this morning panicking over where to sit. Should he sit where he sat this morning? What if Jack dosent want him too. What if he sits somewhere else and he gets yelled at by a jock. Slightly panicking Alex thought out loud "mabe I should just walk home." He tuned to walk out the bus, when he came face to face with none other that Jack.

"I-I um"

"Hey where you going? Aren't you gonna take a seat?"

"uhm I don't know where to." Alex turned red facing downwards towards his shoes.

"Hey, it's okay. You can sit with me." Jack smiled lifting Alex's chin so their eyes could meet.

Alex blushed terribly and studdered out an unsure "okay".

"Mabe this year would be better than originally thought!" both boys smiled as they say together in the back.
