Chapter 7


It was already 5:00 and I was still waiting for my mom. Siting on a bench by my self I watched as people exited the school. Most of the students were gone and the people leaving now were teachers. Most of the people I saw I didn't know. I guess that's a perk of being a new girl, note the sarcasm. I heard a buzzing noise and looked down to see my phone on the bench beside me. I picked it up and slide my thumb across the screen. My mom was finally calling me back after I've an hour.


"Hi honey, I'm sorry I'm late. I'll be there in about 15 minutes." she told me sounding stressed.


"15 more minutes? Mommm" I said dragging out the last letter to inform her of my annoyance.


"Yes I'm trying to get there" she responded and immediately hung up. I set my phone back down, then my attention was drown to something else. Of in the distance I could hear yelling.


"YOU CANT TALK TO HER" A female voice yelled in anger.


"It's not that big if a deal" countered a males voice. It was obvious he was trying not to tell back. Finally the two bodies emerged in to plain sight and were walking to the parking lot.


"It is. Your dating me, you don't talk to some stupid new girl." She said to him throwing her arms all about to get her point across more.


Of course it was Harry and Lanie, and what were they taking about?


Me.


"You can't tell me who I can and can't talk to. It was just a simple conversation." he said still trying to prove his side in the fight.


"WHATEVER" She yelled again. She yanked her car door open and jumped in and sped off away. Leaving Harry standing in the parking lot. Harry turned to his car which was parked beside Lanies, before she drove away. He kicked the tire of his car before turning around and resting agonist the passenger door. His hands covering his face as he took deep breaths. I just sat and watched as he calmed him sled down. From a fight which was over me.


He finally removed his hands from his face. His eyes immediately met mine. At first he looked shocked then confused. Finally he gave me a weak smile and pushed hisself off the car. Walked around to the other side and got in. He gave me one more look before driving away. As I watched Harry drive off I saw my my pull up. Quickly I picked up my back pack and slung it over my shoulder before grabbing my phone. I walked to the car and got in being greeted by my mom.


"Sorry I'm late" she frantically apologized. "Your brothers got in trouble at school" She said turning to glare at them in the back seat. I hadn't even noticed they were there. Considering they were actually silent for what seems like the first time ever.


"It wasn't that big of a deal mom" Hunter said crossing his arms over his chest, pouting.


"Toilet papering your teachers room is a big deal!" She said becoming furious. I tried hard to stifle a laugh at the thought of what the room must of looked like. That was actually a pretty good idea. Hunter just rolled his eyes and Hal remained expressionless the whole time. Finally my mom calmed and decide to pull out of the parking lot to drive home.

Sorry it's been so long for an update. But I'm going to just be working on this story now that I finished the other one. Hope you all enjoy the chapter.
