Jared’s POV
I watched her sleep sitting at the end of her couch with her feet up on my legs. I loved her and I wanted her to be mine and I couldn’t wait much longer to claim her. “Hey man”, the guys said walking in.
“Quiet”, I ordered.
“Sleeping to make up for last night”, they guessed.
“Girl need more sleep than guys plus she had more to drink than most of us”, I reminded them.
“I was impressed I always thought all of Dan’s friends were wimpy geeks but not her apparently or Kelley”, Thor said amused. We all looked at him and I recognized that dreamy look on his face.
“She’s your mate isn’t she”, I guessed.
“Yep and she won’t give me the time of the day”, he smiled, “I like that in a woman”.
“They don’t like that in you”, Kelley said walking in, “how much did you let her drink last night?”
“How did you know she’s been drinking?” I said confused.
“Because she’s sleeping during school hours better wake her up once she’s fast asleep she’s comatose for hours”, she said then screamed into her ear.
“Hey”, I said standing up.
“You rang”, Jack said sitting up like it was no big deal.
“Have nice dreams”, she laughed.
“I always have the best dreams after drinking”, she said standing up.
“Nice outfit we should put on the wall of shame”, she said and they both raced to the exit when the bell rang. We followed heading up to English which I had with Dan and hopefully Jack. I smiled when I saw the group sitting in the back corner tossing each other grapes and M&Ms.
“Maybe your brother has his uses”, Thor said sitting on the ledge closest to Kelley.
“Move over”, I said sitting Jack on my lap and she blushed.
“How is your day going so far?” she asked me.
“Alright I have a fine young lady sitting on me life doesn’t get any better”, I said kissing her on the cheek. Dan growled and I turned to glare at him and I saw Jack looking over at her sisters who were glaring at her hatefully.
“They don’t matter”, I whispered in her ear.
“Is Kelley, Thor’s mate?” she said turning to watch them.
“Why would you think that?” I asked surprised.
“He’s giving her the longing gaze you gave me earlier when we were in the broom closet”, she explained.
“Yeah they’re mates”, I nodded.
“Cool she’s going to make him work for it”, she smiled.
“You make that sound like a good thing”, I laughed.
“It’s an entertaining thing”, she said cheerfully.
“Alright class today we’re watching Romeo and Juliet”, the teacher announced.
“The most depressing movie of all time”, Kelley said.
“No that’s Titanic silly”, Jack laughed.
“Both of you shut up it’s so romantic they can only be together and they’ll die if they’re apart”, Izzy sighed.
