Chapter 18 - He Wouldn't, Would He?

Gage's p.o.v

My whole body convulsed as I felt my inner vampire come out. My fangs painfully pushed their way through my gums, the tips of them being sharper than a knife. My skin grew cold like ice and my eyes flared red like a blazing forest fire. This time I would finish Sky off for good. A loud crack was sent throughout the whole house as my fist collided with the side of his head. I'm sure that wiped his smile off his face. My rage take over me and I just couldn't stop punching. One punch for taking my baby. Five more for taking him a second time. Six more for whatever he did to him. One more just because.

I knew what I was doing wouldn't kill him, only leave battle scars. Everybody knows that the only way to kill a vampire is by snapping their necks. Well...that's exactly what I plan on doing.

I wrapped one arm around Sky's neck so I had him in a headlock. My eyes burnt a brighter red than they ever have as I listened to his hopeless pleas and cries. Pathetic. I spit onto the boys face as he struggled to escape.

Snap

I watched as his body fell to the ground. I bent down and put two fingers to his neck. No pulse. Good. I kicked the motionless body and began walking back to my car. My eyes stayed on my feet as I attempted to change my eyes back to brown.

Thump

I fell onto my butt as I walked into a wall. I bared my fangs and hissed at the wall. Wait...walls don't have feet. I looked up into Aiden's eyes as they quickly turned from curious to terrified. Shit. "Aiden, baby..."

"St-st-stay away from me" he whimpered as he slowly backed up, never taking his off of my red ones.

Aiden's p.o.v

Those eyes...those are the same eyes I saw on the night my parents were killed...the night my whole life started to spiral downwards. Gage couldn't have though..he...he wouldn't! Would he?

Gage's p.o.v

His face..it breaks my heart. He looks just like a sad little boy who has lost his parents. That face though...it looks...familiar.
