Chapter 10 ~ Red Eyes Return

Here is chapter 10!!! Thanks for waiting! And thank you guys sooo so so so much for helping me get over 1,000 reads and around 20-ish votes! After this story ends (which won't be for a while) I have plans to do two other stories; a Alice in wonderland boyxboy version and a Christofer Drew and Jordan Witzigreuter fan fiction! CAUTION: Strong language and a very pissed off Gage ahead

Gage's p.o.v (One hour earlier)

I sniffed the air as Aiden's scent got stronger but was slightly hidden behind another smell that had to belong to a vampire. God I hope he's okay, some vampires can be really vicious. My car sped down the road swerving in and out between other cars on the highway. The speedometer slowly crept its way up to 90 even though the speed limit was only 70. A horn blared behind me as I cut them off in a rush to get to my baby. I quickly looked into my review mirror to be met by red and blue flashing lights. Damn it! I pulled over the car and waited as the police officer made his way to me. Oh good lord.... This cop was an A+ stereotypical cop. In one hand he was carrying a doughnut and in the other a coffee. He had to weigh at least 300 pounds and he had a mustache.

"Son, do you know how fast you were going just now?" The cop named Robert asked. "Yes sir I do, I was going 90 miles per hour but its an emergency officer. You see my mother is in the hospital and I need to go see her. I'm afraid she might be dying" I swiftly lied while forcing tears into my eyes. The cop seemed reluctant but then sighed and said "Alright son your free to go, but just this one time" then he waddled back to his car. I started up my car again and once out of the cops sight I zoomed off again. I could smell Aiden getting closer and closer as I headed farther out of the city. Where is my baby? What if he's hurt? I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch who took my Aiden away from me!

Ten minutes later and I was parked outside an old Victorian styled house located in the middle of a forest. In no less than two seconds I was out if my car and at the front door. I didn't even bother to knock but instead kicked the door off its hinges and waltzed right in. The smell of Aiden devoured my senses and lead me to a door covered in scratches and blood. I flung the door open and noticed I was in the basement now. I ran down the stairs and seen my Aiden. Thank god I found him! Next to him I noticed a blue haired boy, his kidnapper.

"What the hell?!?" I roared at the boy causing him to flinch away from me. Psh if he's scared now wait until I get my hands on him, then he'll be scared. I strided over to Aiden and helped him off of the ground. "Are you okay" I whispered in his ear, which he replied with a nod. "Go wait in my car babe" I told him and I watched him walk up the stairs. As soon as he was gone I returned my gaze to blue haired boy. His eyes were wide and slightly filled with tears while he was noticeable shaking. I made my way over to him and lifted him up by his shirt collar. I pulled my fist back and swiftly brought it to his jaw, earning me a satisfying crunch. I continued throwing punches while he whimpered, cried, and begged me to stop. I felt my eyes flash red and I had the desire to kill. The boy looked up at me, obviously terrified. I let him drop from my hand and onto the floor were I quickly pinned him down. He thrashed and squirmed underneath me but had no success.

"How dare you come near my Aiden. How dare you hurt him. It sickens me to think that your still breathing. Well good thing I won't have to feel that anymore" I spat and with that I wrapped my arms around his neck, cutting off his air. He violently kicked underneath me but I didn't give in. His small hands wrapped around my wrists and ripped them off. He heaved in a huge amount of air and then we both jumped to our feet in the fighting potion, neither of us daring to make the first move. We circled around each other, both of us growling and snapping our fangs. I was tired of waiting so I lunged myself at him but he quickly side stepped, causing me to hit the wall. I stood up quickly and turned around to notice the boy staring at me, eyes glowing red. Strange, very few vampires eyes turn red when angry, instead they usually turn black. In fact I'm the only vampire I know of whose eyes do this.

I was brought out of my thoughts when a strong kick was delivered to my stomach. I gasped in pain but quickly recovered and threw another punch at the boys face but he swiftly moved his head to the side. He attempted to do the same to me but I mirrored his movement and quickly moved my head out of his way. Punch after punch was dodged as we circled around the room, attempting to do damage to the other. In our fury of fist I decided to change it up a bit and swung my foot around hitting him in the shins and successfully knocking him to the ground. Once again I pinned him down and started throwing punches while he tried to get out of my grasp. I stopped though once I heard a tiny squeak at the top of the stairs. I turned my head around to notice a shocked looking Aiden staring at the bloody mess we had made.

Aiden's p.o.v

What is taking Gage so long? I want to go home and sleep. I decided to get up and go check for myself. I walked through the empty doorframe into the house and then back to the basement door where I heard violent thrashing. I quickly opened the door and burst down the stairs and made a small squeak. Laying underneath Gage was a beat up and bruised Sky. He had blood dripping from his nose and pouring out of his mouth. Gage stopped punching Sky to a bloody pulp and turned his attention towards me. His eyes quickly flashed from red back to their original color. Those same red eyes I had seen on the night my parents were killed. The same red eyes that had haunted my dreams since that night. A tear escaped my eye and rolled down my cheek. No. No it couldn't have been Gage. He wouldn't do that would he? More tears poured down my face and hit the floor. I hadn't noticed Gage was next to me until he whispered in my ear "Baby what's wrong?" I flinched away and just simply shook my head and made my way over to Sky's limp body. I brought my ear to his chest and he was still breathing. I then took off my shirt and started dabbing away the blood from his face.

"What are you doing?" Gage questioned my actions but I ignored him and continued cleaning away the blood. "Go start your car up," I commanded "We're taking Sky to the hospital"

"Babe there's no need for that. Vampires heal fast. Look, the bleeding has already stopped" I looked and sure enough he was right, there was no longer blood coming out. I finished cleaning away the blood that was already on his face and lifted him up into my arms. I made my way to the stairs brushing past Gage and walked into the living room. I slowly lowered Sky onto the couch and rested his head on the pillow and pulling a blanket over him. After looking over him one last time a gave him a quick kiss on the forehead and made my way outside to where Gage was waiting.
