I wake up, a few minutes before my alarm, so I just get up anyway. I change and do my makeup. I walk downstairs and jump when I here a horn beep from outside. It's..... Brendon.
"What are you doing here?" I say as I walk outside.
"I thought I'd drive you to school," he grins.
"But... I walk..." I say.
"Not today, you don't," he says, opening the passenger seat door. I sit down and he drives off. We sing and talk and laugh the whole way there.
"Poppy's totally gonna kill me for not walking with her..." I say.
"I'm pretty sure it'll be fine for one day," he giggles.
"Whatever," I say.
We pass by a boy with dark hair and lots of piercings. We park in front of the school and the boy runs up to the car. He knocks on the window and I roll it down.
"Hey Alice!.... Who's this?" the boy asks.
"Oh, Josh! Hey! This is my new boyfriend! Brendon!" I say, in a fake enthusiastic voice.
"Wait, that's actually.... Holy shit!! I thought it was just some guy who looked like him!" he says.
"Well, who's this, Alice?" Brendon says, not looking very happy.
"Oh... This is my ex-boyfriend," I say, hoping he won't get pissed off.
"Oh, well, hi," he says. He rolls his eyes and I get out of the car. He waves to me and glares at Josh. He drives off and I glance at Josh. He's staring at me. I roll my eyes too and walk away. He runs up next to me.
"Hey.... Um, Alice?" he says.
"What do you want?" I say, angry.
"I-I really, um, miss you! I need you, Alice! Please take me back!" he begs.
"No! I have a boyfriend! You know that!" I storm off and go to my first class.
Brendon's POV
I can't believe she still talks to him like that! She seems so fucking excited to see him and everything! I drive faster and quickly park in front of my house. I slam the car door and storm up to the front door. I go inside and sit on the couch. I finally just fall asleep.
