Brendon runs up to me and has his hands behind his back.

"What's up Bren?" I ask him.

"Guess what I got for us?" he asks.

"Um, I might as well not guess because I will probably be wrong," I say, giggling.

"I got you a gig!" he shoves a paper at me with bold words saying 'Warped Tour'.

My jaw drops and I finally let out a large sigh, "I can't believe it." I give him a huge hug, almost knocking him over.

I look at the paper and see that my gig is tonight. My eyes bulge out of their sockets. I pull away and run inside the house. I grab up everything I need. Clothes, instruments, microphone and mic stand. I start freaking out. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and I check it. I see on the bright screen, it's a message from Brendon. It reads 'Baby, I love you. I'll see you tonight ;)' I grin and run downstairs.

Later that evening, me and Brendon are getting ready. I see out of the corner of my eye, a shadow. I turn around and see the shadow run away. I walk towards it, which turns into a run. I chase it until I find out who it is. Josh. He turns around.

"Oh, hey! What's up?" he says, nervously.

"What are you doing here?" I ask fiercely. He gets closer to me and kisses me, just like before, but this time, he's better. I start to feel myself deepen the kiss. He pulls my hips in against his and we begin to make out. I completely forget what's going on around me, until I hear someone's voice.

"Alice?" the voice says, sounding very forlorn. I pull away and turn around. I see Brendon standing there, speechless. I had done it again. I see tears rushing down his cheeks as he turns back and tramps off. I run after him and grab his arm. He tears away and I hear him mumble some cuss words under his breath. I feel my heart break as he walks away from me, not even giving me a last glance. Josh runs up behind me. He grabs my hand.

"You don't need him anyway," he insisted. He drags me backstage again.

After many bands play, Brendon's comes out and plays. He plays all my favorite songs, but when he began to sing 'When The Day Met The Night,' I heard his voice crack and he drops the mic. I watch as he walks off the stage with tears flooding his eyes. The announcer says some mumbled words, then says my band name. Me and Poppy go out and play our song. After the song, we go backstage and Josh greets me with a hug. I smile, but don't really feel happy. I really beat up Brendon's heart. I need to talk to him.

"I'm gonna go to the restroom," I blurt out and walk away. I try to find Brendon, then I see him. He's cuddled up on a couch farther in the back, his face buried in a pillow. I walk over and he looks up.

"I don't want to talk to you," he says, burying his face back in the pillow.

"I know, but just hear me out." I begin as he look up at me with bloodshot eyes. I tell him about everything and we just sit there in silence for a long time. He finally gets up and I rise too. We hug eachother and finally say the words I never wanted to hear: 'Goodbye.'
