Brendon's POV

After Alice gets home, I watch for Josh following her. I spot him from the crowd and walk over to him, my fists clenched and my jaw tight. I stand up straight and stare right into his eyes. He jumps and steps back a few steps.

"Hey, you're Alice's boyfriend, right?" he asks.

"Yes, and I don't think you should talk to Alice anymore, nonetheless kiss her," I say.

"Man, she's falling in love with me, she just hasn't figured it out yet," he says.

"You listen to me, Josh. You stay away from her or I'll do something about it!" I yell and walk away. I feel stinging pain in my head as I grow a large headache. I walk over to my car and drive away.

Alice's POV

I feel the aching pain in my stomach. I just did something so terrible to Brendon. I should have just pushed Josh away while I still had a chance. I text Brendon.

'Baby, I'm so sorry, I can't believe I did something like that to you!' I text.

He doesn't text back for a long time.

Finally, my phone vibrates. I check the text and it reads, 'I know. I can't believe it either. I just got done talking to Josh, but don't worry, I didn't do anything I would have regretted..... For now.'

I feel butterflies in my stomach. I'm happy he talked to him, but Josh is such a hard person to talk to. He never listens, he doesn't take people seriously, he's basically a 5 year old girl who likes to be a princess.

I take a deep breath before I walk over to the stairs and walk up to my room. I open the door, walk over to my bed, and let the pull of gravity let me fall onto my bed. I pull the blanket over my head and I slowly doze off into my own little dream world.
