I groggily lift my head off of my pillow and glance at my spongebob alarm clock. Time to get up, I tell myself. I pull myself up and pull my curtains aside. Barely even light out. I force myself to pull in my clothes and smooth down my hair. The ty minutes to seven, I'm pulling my bike out of the garage. I text Leo and tell him I'm leaving. I head down the driveway, grateful that it hasn't gotten so unbearebly hot yet. I turn down the streets, watching the town come to life. When I get to Apple Grove, I immedently see Leo. When he sees me, he grins. I jump off of my bike and set it against a tree. Leo approaches me and takes my hand. "Good morning." He says. "Morning!" I say grinning. He pulls me toward a cluster of trees and sits me down on a rock, making me cover my eyes. "In honor of our traveling back in timeness, I present to you......" I pull my hand away, and see him leaning in. I close my eyes and fireworks go off in my head, just like last time. Suddenly, I hear the sound of leaves crunching. My eyes fly open and Leo turns around. A girl comes out of the trees. She looks about our age. She s3s us and jumps back. "Oh my gosh! I am sooo sorry. I just went exploring and then, I....." Her voice fades off. "Its ok," I say, getting off the rock. Leo follows me over to where she is standing. I stick out my hand and she shakes. "Hi." I say. "I'm Amanda." She replies, "My name is Skylar. And I just moved into town."
