I make my way through the maze of trees, I think they are apple, because it sure does smell like it, even though I haven't seen any apples. I've been out here for a couple of hours, I've been lost more like. I haven't seen any real roads or any people for about an hour, and I also have no cell phone service. I stop walking and sniff the air. The apples are getting stronger now. Suddenly, I hear voices. I listen carefully to find out where they are coming from. Maybe a hundred feet away. I start walking in that direction. I stop when I see two figures, now about twenty feet away from where I'm standing. One of them is leaning toward the other, it looks like they're about to kiss. Suddenly, I trip over a tree root and come crashing to the ground. The two people look up. I can now see one is a girl and one is a boy. Both about my age. The girl walks over to me and holds her hand out, which I grab gratefully and stand up. "Hi!'' She says. "I'm Amanda, and that's Leo." I smile and shake her hand and start talking a mile a minute. "I'm Skylar. I just moved into this town. I'm sorry if I interrupted you two. Also, I was wondering, do you guys have apples here? It smells like apples, but I can't figure out where its coming from." Amanda and Leo look at each other with a funny look on their faces. They nod at each other. "Skaylar," Leo says to me. "We have a lot to talk about."
