Chappie 1: Prologue

(Y/N's POV)

I laid upon the tree, resting in my usual place to think.

It was spring.

Cherry blossoms.

Ugh. Just like his hair

As that thought entered my mind, a rosy pink cherry blossom fell from the tree I was sitting under, onto the ground next to me.

For a split second I was filled with rage.
In anger, I harshly chucked a rock into the nearby lake and crushed the pink blossom with my foot. I stomped away.

Now's not the time to be reminded of him. Not after what he did.

{flashback to 3 years earlier}

(Still Y/N's POV)

"IM BACK BITCHES!!!!!!"

I yelled as I kicked the doors down of the Fairy Tail guild proceeding to accidentally crush 2-5 people in the process. Whoops. At least they have health insurance.

"(Y/N) YOU'RE PAYING FOR THAT DOOR" screamed Master from the bar drowning in a jug of booze.

"SORRY I'M USING MY MONEY ON THINGS I ACTUALLY GIVE SHITS ABOUT" I yelled back walking over to my boyfriend and team.

As I walked over I saw Natsu and Lucy sitting pretty close, chatting to each other, not noticing my appearance yet, while Gray was giving Wendy piggy back rides.

How cute.

I hugged Natsu from behind, surprising him and Lucy.

"Where's my 'welcome back'? Didn't you see me?" I whispered playfully.

"Welcome back sweetheart," he said, getting up and kissing my cheek. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Lucy giving me a bitchy glare from her bitchy face.

Ever since she joined the guild I sensed that she didn't like me. Well I didn't really like her too. I mean seriously? Where'd she get her skirts, the kids section at GoodWill? No that's not it she wouldn't spend money on that when she worries about her rent so much. She probably just steals them from Wendy's wardrobe.

The poor girl.

"Did you forget?" I pouted. "Its our 6 month anniversary today!" I giggled (idc if your giggle sounds like a dying seal BELIEVE IN YOURSELF you're all fabulous in this book :3)

Something flashed in Natsu's eyes.

"Sorry I didn't see you sweety, I was just..." He hesitated for a split second. I saw his eyes dart to Lucy's skirt.

"A bit distracted..." Natsu said as he trailed off.

For half a second I saw Lucy smirk.

What was going on?

Well, to avoid seeming like of those annoying, skeptical girlfriends (cringe) I just giggled and smiled.

"You have the attention span of a wall, Natsu," I joked.

He chuckled.
