(Y/n's POV)

I gave a small smirk in amusement at Natsu's shocked expression while the ballroom was engulfed in an uncomfortable silence.

"wait... WHAT?!" He exclaimed, grabbing my shoulders. I took a deep breath and stepped back, escaping his hold, and making the pinkette stumble forward.

"I said, I choose Sabertooth. I'm not coming back to Fairytail."

I repeated with no remorse. Natsu stared at me in shock.

"But... seriously?! Even after all the time I've spent with you, and all the time the guild has spent with you... You still won't come back?! To them?! Or at least, to me?!" Natsu continued in slight anger in pain, taking multiple steps forward as he spoke.

Sting and Minervie stepped in front of me protectively and Lucy held Natsu back.

"Do you know how hard I've worked to get your beautiful ass to forgive me again?! I love you, (y/n) I always have! Please, just come back to me..." Natsu pleaded, pushing through Sting and Minervie, giving me a big hug.

I looked down in pity before gently taking his arms and peeling them off my body.

"I'm a great liar huh?" I asked. He stared in confusion at my action and words while tiny pools of tears appeared at the corner of his eyes.

"Natsu, do believe that feeling is mutual? The fact that you love me?" I questioned sternly, tilting his head upwards to look at me.

"What? What do you mean?" Natsu asked nervously. I sighed.

"Do you think that it's really possible to forgive someone so easily for ruining your life? And breaking your heart?"

Natsu's eyes widened.

"W-well, I mean-" He stuttered and I stepped back, away from him. He attempted to grab me again, but Sting swatted his hand away.

I gave a smirk.

"I never loved you, Natsu Dragneel. Everything that happened during the games was a lie. I. Hate. You." I stated with no mercy.

The pinkette was taken aback and tripped over himself while he stumbled backwards, falling flat on his ass. I smiled.

"Huh? Is that heartbreak I smell? Must suck, huh? You piece of shit." I said with a big smirk. Everyone stood in utter shock at the scene before them.

Natsu Dragneel, the fire dragon slayer, was getting roasted. Hard. The irony is strong with this one.

Suddenly he got on his knees and bowed down, crying.
