I looked down in guilt after stating my decision, twiddling with my thumb and forefinger, letting slow tears fall down my cheeks.

"In addition... I want to take a temporary suspension from the guild." I finished.

Taking off my golden Sabertooth hairpin, I opened my best friend's hand and placed in on her palm.

I sighed and gave the brunette a final hug.

"Minervie... I'm leaving the team..." I said sternly, with my lip quivering. "And the guild for a little while..."

Her eyes widened in shock before she pulled away and slapped me. I stumbled back in surprise.
