Introduction: Getting to know me.

My name is Jack Datu. I live in San Francisco, California. You may not know me, and obviously I may not know you. Well I'll give you an update about how my world works. To put it simply, everyone must learn to fight in order to survive. And when I say fight, I don't mean metaphorically.

This was approved of the government because a group of terrorists called INTOLERANCE were wrecking havoc anywhere in the world. Many lives were taken because many were not taught how to fight. So after hearing this, the government officially announced that schools should now include self-defense as a subject. This government act is called the "PeaceMaker" act.

That said, each country has their own fighting style. Basically everyone has a lineage of their ancestors and already has a fighting style that they have inherited. Me however, I had no idea of who or what my great ancestor was. For sure I know that I am a filipino, but there are tons of filipino warriors, and any of them could be my ancestor. And to top it all of, I was not raised to fight (surprise surprise).

I was raised well by my mother, God bless her soul, and was always telling me to be a good man. I just don't know how fighting would make me a good man though. It all seems so weird for me. But I guess I can't since it was the norm nowadays.

Speaking about the norm, I almost forgot to tell you that we still have normal schools till the end of elementary school. After graduating elementary, each of us will be sent to each of the 3 academies: Golden Gate Academy(GGA), Jade Phoenix Academy(JPA) and Hawkson Academy(HKA) where we will be having our highschool years.

Each of these schools teach martial arts in order to hone your currently known fighting style. And then there's the Summer Entrance Exams(SEE) or "Summer Fights". This is where you are judged to see if you are fit to advance to your next school year, or even excel. Now that I have that all down, Let's get started with my story.
