"He said I've been to the year 3000, not much has changed but they live underwater. And your great-great-great granddaughter, is doing fine, doing fine!"

I chucked the closest thing I could find to me at the source of the sound. It was cut off by an 'oomph' and followed by a loud thud.

"What was that for?" Camryn whined.

"You were making my ears bleed. While I was trying to sleep, no less," I replied pleasantly.

"So? It didn't mean you had to throw a shoe at me!"

"Shush. Let me sleep, lady," Arielle's raspy voice called.

"Both of you are so boring! This is supposed to be a sleepover!" Camryn groaned, flopping down on Arielle's legs.

Arielle then kicked her legs up, causing Camryn to shoot up and while her legs landed in my stomach. I groaned and sat up, rubbing my stomach in pain.

Let me explain the situation, before I get too ahead of myself.

It was a week after the whole fiasco with Tristan and Cameron that night. Cameron and I just never spoke of that night. Tristan and I were getting quite close.

Camryn's parents were out for the night. So she invited Arielle and me to hang out with her after school and sleepover. We both agreed, however I was dead tired from last night. And Arielle just loved sleeping in general.

So all five us had squeezed into Camryn, Cedric and Connor's car, and ended up with Arielle on Connor's lap, and Cedric was driving.

Once we'd reached her place, which was a massive house, Arielle promptly first went to the kitchen and grabbed all the food she could find. Connor and Cedric went out to hang out with some friends, while all three of us watched movies.

Halfway through the first movie, Paper Towns, Arielle fell asleep on my shoulder and began drooling and snoring.

By the end of The Spectacular Now, I was passed out, Arielle still on my shoulder.

But I was woken up by Camryn singing 'Year 3000' at the top of her voice at 1 AM. And I then threw a shoe at her.

Arielle had been lying between Cami and me when I had fallen asleep, but somehow she had rolled over and Cami just plopped herself perpendicularly on top of Arielle and me, her head in Ari's lap and her feet on my lap.

Back to the present, the door opened to reveal Connor. Ari's legs were in the air, I was clutching my stomach in pain, and Cami was sprawled out over Ari and me.

Oh, joy.

Cedric then appeared behind Connor, the former smirking and the latter embarrassed.

"What do you two devils want?" Camryn enquired, turning her head to face them.

"Nothing, just uh... Checking on you guys, is all," Connor mumbled, before proceeding to shut the door.

"No, wait!" Cedric stuck his foot in between, stopping Connor from shutting the door.

"What?" Connor glared at his twin.

"Since all three of you are awake..." He glanced at Arielle before amending his words, "Sort-of awake... Why don't we go for a little midnight swim?"

"If we die in the pool, I'll kill all of you, okay?" Arielle shivered, standing before the Jacobsen's pool.

"Oh c'mon, Ari, it won't hurt! Here let me help you!"

"Stuff yourself with hay, Cedri-"
