Sean's POV

kanina pa ako nakauwi, I'm just looking at the card na medyo naninilaw na sa katagalan. I wasn't sure kung ano ang gusto ipagawa sakin ni Jordan. yeah I know to call this number. but I wasn't sure if this phone number is still existing. ilang beses din akong atras at abante sa pag angat ng phone receiver. shit!

but then my curiosity strikes me. bahala na. this is all or nothing. I dialled the phone number of the doctor. this doctor was based in Asian Hospital in NCR.

ilang ring bago may sumagot na babae na mukhang Secretary ng doctor based sa bungad nya sakin..

"can I speak with Dr. Filadelfo Rojas, please."

[check ko lang po sir kung available na po sya. by the way can I have your name please..]

"please tell Mr. De La Torre.. thank you."

[sige po Mr. De La Torre itransfer ko lang po kayo sa direct line ni Doc Rojas.]

I didn't even bother to say thank you dahil nawala na ito sa linya, at tanging hold music lang ang naririnig ko. after 30 seconds narinig ko na ang lalaki sa kabilang linya.

"this is Filadelfo Rojas. Mr. De La Torre?"

I cleared my throat..

"hi doc. this is Sean De La Torre,..,"

mga ilang sigundo din akong natigilan.

",..,doc gusto ko Lang Sana mag tanong if you happened to know about my Father, he's name was John Dalton De La Torre...."

"sure, wait lang at titignan ko sa files ko, I remember him.. hopefully di pa nabubura ng system, medjo matagal na yun I think it must be eleven years since the last time na bumisita sya sakin..,"

I held my breath, so Totoo nga na may sakit si JD. nanghihina akong napasandal sa headrest ng swivel chair ko.

"..., there you go. John Dalton De La Torre., how's he now? does he go under operations? yan kasi ang first opinion for his Colon Cancer.."

shit! colon cancer..

"to tell you honestly doc, di namin alam na may sakit si papa. di samin pinaalam."

"did he died? his cancer that time was on a stage 4 na, tanging operation sa us was the only way para madagdagan ang buhay nya. but I bet Hindi sya nag undergo nang operation.."

"BTW doc do you happen to know Jordan Devine?"

"yeah, was she the one recoment me to you, she's my student back then in med school."

"I see. BTW doc salamat po sa information.."

"anytime hijo.."

I already ended the call. the conversation with the doctor was heart breaking. yun pala ang sinasabi ni JD kaya niya ako pinamamadaling kumuha ng masteral sa us, we don't know na by the time he's suffering to a critical stage 4 cancer. na tanging kay Sabine lang nya nasasabi ang mga problema na pinagdadaanan. I massage my temple.

"Sean..."

that was Summer.. standing in front of me.

"Sam.. may sakit si papa, we don't know na he have stage 4 cancer back then. kaya pala ganun nalang ang eager no papa para kumuha ako ng masteral.."

"oh god! Saan mo nalaman?"

"I called his doctor from Manila,."

"but how Sean?"

I sighed..

"may iniwang sulat si Sabine tungkol kay papa, I think na alam ni Sabine ang tungkol sa sakit ni papa, may naiwang calling card from the doctor at Asian hospital, I wasn't expecting it but Jordan tried to tell na may sakit na si papa noon, at di nito magagawang iwan tayo.."

"Ibig bang sabihin nun Sean namatay si Daddy dahil sa colon cancer and Sabine saw that?"

"no.. based on Jordan, papa was murdered that night eleven years ago, Sam. besides walang dinala si papa maliban sa sasakyan nya."

"oh god!" my sister cried.

"the reason why Jordan was back is because she wants to know who killed our father.."

third person's POV

narinig nya lahat ng paguusap ng magkapatid. ngayon natitiyak na nyang malalaman na ng lahat ang buong katotohanan. Hindi sya papayag na malaman ng lahat ang Totoo. she will kill Jordan first. kung kailangan nyang pumatay ulit ay gagawin nya, mapatahimik lang si Jordan.
