Garnets P.O.V
I began to cry. Tears were floating from my eyes and flying up towards the heavens.
Blue surrounded me and Pearl.
"G-G-Garnet?" Pearl murmured.
"Yes." I replied, hastily.
"Please, if I'm shattered, make sure you look after Ros- I mean Steven's Gem." Pearl asked. She rested her delicate hand on my cheek.
"I don't need to, because you're going to live!"
Pearl smiled at me.
The blue surrounding us disappeared. We arrived at Roses fountain. The fountain was still perfectly flowing.
"Pearl, don't worry. We're here now." I smiled.
The roses danced in the air, the crystals shined in the light.
We approached the fountain. I rested Pearl on the floor, and scooped some of Roses tears into my hands.
"Close your eyes." I said, softly.
She did so.
I poured Roses tears , concentrating it on her gem.
I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
"Garnet?" Pearl whispered. "Has it worked?"
I didn't know what to say. I stayed silent.
Pearl looked to her side. "It's okay Garnet. It's oka-"
Pearl poofed.
Her gem lay on the floor shattered.
I picked a piece up, and held it in my hand. "Pearl. No. Pearl. No. Pearl. NO!" I threw my shades on the floor.
"PEARL NO. PLEASE NO"
I picked up all the pieces and held them in my hand.
"PEARL!" My head flew back and I screamed at the top of my lungs.
The warp pad activated and a figure stood on the pad.
I turned around.
They smiled at me. But, they Looked at the shattered soul I held in my hand.
It was Steven.
His hand flew over his mouth.
And tears
Ran down
His cheeks.
Pearls gone.
Steven's gone.
