We walked down to the apartment complex he was staying at, then went into his room. "Star Wars?" he asked, grabbing onto one of the star wars movies. I giggled, taking my sweatshirt off so he could see the Storm Trooper shirt I was wearing. "Star Wars." he stated, putting the DVD in the machine. I sat down on the couch, watching as he walked into a different room then came back out a couple minutes later with a bowl of popcorn and two beers. He sat the popcorn in the middle of the couch, sitting across from it as he put one of the beers in my lap. I opened it and took a big gulp as the movie started. I only had one beer, he had about 3.

those 3 turned into 5. and eventually those 5 turned into 7. I looked to Max, only to see that he was grabbing onto the bowl of popcorn (which still had some in it) and putting it on his head. I giggled, scooting closer to him.  Without warning, he quickly grabbed onto me and sat me in my lap. He'd had more beers than I have. "I ah, I um... I-" I started, being cut off my Max's lips being pressed to mine. I know I shouldn't have, but I started kissing him back. He started rubbing my side with his hand, slowly moving it down to my waist and then my bum. I grabbed onto his hand, putting it to my waist again. My waist was safe. He stopped kissing me for a minute, but then started again, moving his hand back down. I tried to move his hand again, but he wouldn't let me. He just started grabbing me. "Max, stop..." I started, taking my lips away from him. He smiled devilishly, shaking his head. I quickly got up from the couch and started walking to the door. He grabbed onto me, throwing me down to the floor. I tried to get up, but he pushed me back down, sitting on-top of me as he unfastened his pants. He ripped mine down, and I started screaming as I covered my eyes. "I can't enjoy it if you keep crying." he stated. I started struggling to get away, but he just punched me in the face. I kept trying. He hit me again. He kept hitting me until I gave up.

Once he... finished, he grabbed onto me and dragged me out of the room. He threw me into his car, then drove down the road a little bit. I didn't want to open my eyes, even though I really should've. The car stopped. He got out. He pulled me out and left me on the side of the road. He left.

I slowly opened my eyes, looking around to see where I was.  It was so dark. I started crying again, using the rest of my strength to get my phone out of my pocket. I tried to call everyone.

Tony.

Jaime.

Vic.

none of them answered. The last guy I had to call was Mike. And I knew I shouldn't call him. He told  me not to call him. But he was my only option. I tapped on the "call" button. It rang about 3 times, then finally, he answered.

"...Maria?" he asked. He sounded sleepy. I couldn't bring myself to say anything. I just kept crying. "...Maria? What's wrong... what did he do to you?" he asked, his voice getting a bit angry. "He... h-he.. he took.." I started. "What Maria? What did he take?" he asked. "He... he t-took wh- what I was... was s-saving..." I managed to get out. "Dammit." he said under his breath. "Maria, where are you?" he asked. I heard keys jingling. "I... I don't.. I don't know..." I replied. "What's around you? Do you see a road sign? What do you see?" he asked. I looked around. "I... I see trees... a lot o-of trees... and a l-long road... i-it looks... looks like it never ends.." I stated. "I think I know where you are. Just get somewhere where I can see you. I'll be there soon, okay?" he stated. "P-please.. don't... don't hang up." I asked. "Alright, I won't hang up... Just hang tight, okay?" he asked.

We didn't say anything else, but he didn't hang up. I started hearing the engine of a car in the distance, followed by headlights. He quickly stopped the car, getting out and running towards me. "M-Maria..." he started, taking his shirt off as he bent down next to me. "you're bleeding..." he finished. He started wiping the blood off of my face, then he picked me up and put me in the car. "Wh-where i-is everyone..." I asked as he got into the car. "They're all at the club or something." he stated, starting up the car and speeding down the road. I closed my eyes again. I felt the car stop, followed by him picking me up and carrying me somewhere. I slightly opened my eyes as I heard a door open, only to be greeted by the emergency room at a hospital.

A doctor that just happened to be in there quickly ran towards me after Mike laid me on one of the beds. The doctor started wheeling me to a room, and I started going in and out of consciousness. I looked towards Mike. There were tears falling from his eyes. After that, everything went black.

I woke up a little while later, and hesitantly opened my eyes. I looked around the room. I was hooked up to a bunch of machines. I looked to the other side of the room. There were chairs, and Mike was sitting in one of them with his head in his hands. "M..mi-mike.." I said, and he quickly lifted his head and stood up. "morning." he stated. "Wh-where is everyone else?" I asked. "They're on their way." he stated. I nodded, looking down at myself. "Don't worry, he's in jail now.." he whispered. I nodded, looking up at him. "T...thanks." I stated, shakily moving my arms so I could give him a hug. After he hugged me, he sat back down.

A couple minutes later, I started hearing movement outside of the room, followed by Tony, Jaime and Vic bursting through the door with tears in their eyes. "M-m.. Mari.." Tony started, latching onto me and soaking the hospital gown with his tears. I latched onto him. I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. I had already cried as much as I possibly could. There were no tears left in my body.  "T-Tony.. do-don't cry." I whispered. He held onto me tighter, calming down a bit.

After a couple minutes, Tony had calmed down a bit and let go of me, wiping the remaining tears off his face. They stayed for a bit, until the nurse had asked them all to leave.

-a few hours later-

I woke up crying, again. This had been the fourth time. Every time I closed my eyes, I just kept reliving that moment over and over again.

I laid in silence for the rest of the night. I was too terrified to go to sleep.
