Just Friends? - A Liam Payne Imagine (Part 2)

All your dreams, all that you thought about, everything was over. Finished.

You were crying, you could not believe it, you loved him so much, you were so sure that he was going to ask you out today.

Your phone buzzed and your teary eyes tried to make out what was written, everything was blury. “Y/n I hope you are fine! I promise I will tell you EVERYTHING about her at dinner, I know I should have told you before”

 You could not reply, You reached home and you ran into your room, your mum called out, but you did not turn behind.

As you entered your room, you threw your phone on the bed and you yourself fell on the floor, holding on to your knees, really tightly.

“Why! AM I THAT BAD? WHY DOESN’T HE LIKE ME?” you thought, tears streaming down your eyes, your hair was ruined. You got so tired, lay down on your bed hugging your pillow and slowly slept off.

“Y/n? Y/n?” you heard a whisper. You got up slowly opening your eyes;

It was Liam, the guy you loved so much. “Oh” You said, and suddenly got up. “Are you alright? You didn’t  reply and you look as though you had been crying” Liam asked.

“Ye-yea-yeahh I am” you spoke “Are you sure?” He asked again “No I AM NOT! I LOVE YOU DON’T YOU KNOW!” You were thinking but you didn’t want to be the one to spoil Liam’s relationship.

“Yes Liam, stop asking” you said coldly. “Ohhhk Wow that was rude” Liam said “Sorry I just want to be alone right now” you said getting up.

“I knew something was wrong” Liam said “Nothing is wrong Liam don’t worry” You said “Stop lying Y/n” Liam said sitting on the edge of your bed “Oh gosh I am not lying, I’m fine get that. I AM FINE. Can you stop asking” you said slightly raising your voice, with tears in your eyes, Liam got up and held your shoulders “Y/n You can tell me anything, You’re my best friend. I’m here for you” Liam said looking at you.

“Yeah I don’t have to tell you everything single thing that happens, ok, and Why do you even care” You said, You were hurt and did not realise how harsh you were being on Liam. There was a silence and then you blurted out “Get out of my room, Liam”

 He was shocked, but he knew it was pointless  arguing with you, and he left the room. Tears started running again, and you went to the bathroom.

You looked at yourself and thought “I am so ugly, no wonder he does not like me” You were crying.

“Y/n!” your mum shouted, “Dinner is ready sweetheart” You gathered all your emotions. You did not want to hurt anyone. You went down, and you looked like you had been crying all day, you had dark circles.

You went to the table and saw Liam, your mum and dad sitting on the table. “What took you so long?” you mum asked, you shrugged your shoulders, and you sat down, opposite Liam.

“So Liam, Are you and my daughter finally dating?” You dad said. You looked at your dad, expressionless; Liam just smiled and looked down. “No sir, your daughter is too perfect for me, but yeah I do love this girl” Liam said.

“Oh wow, that’s great you should get her home sometime” Your mum said. You could not sit anymore and got up. “Where are you going” Liam said “I’m not hungry mum, and I’m not feeling well, I’m going upstairs” you said.

You could not sit there, listening about that perfect girl. You went to your room, and started staring out of your window. It was a beautiful night, the stars were shining brightly. The night was beautiful, people outside your window seemed happy, the guy you loved the most was sitting downstairs and you were here heart broken.

Your room was dark; you did not even care if there was light or if there wasn’t.

Suddenly you saw a yellow light appearing, the one that came, when someone opened the door.

You knew it was Liam. “You don’t have to console me here, I’m fine” you said. “I haven’t come here to console you” He said.

You looked behind and saw him carrying a bowl. “Your favourite Ice-Cream” Liam said. “I’m not in the mood” You said. “Yeah?” He stared walking towards you, and sat down next to you, “Clear sky” He said, You nodded.

You did not want to say anything, what would you say? “ I know what is wrong with you” Liam spoke. A Shiver ran through your back, did he know? No of course not. You thought.

“You have been acting strange since I told you that I had fallen in love with someon?” He said. You looked at him, staring at him, how did he know? “You know Y/n we met in a concert, and she is brilliant, and I really like her” Liam said pouring his heart out.

 You could not hold your tears anymore, and broke down in front of him “You know Liam I have always liked you, and I stayed up all night and I was so sure that you were finally going to ask me out” you whispered.
