[ Reminder: If you use any templates, layouts, tutorials, filters, etc. from this book, please credit me in the description or elsewhere. ]
In order to make covers, you've got to have apps! Here are the apps I will be using in this book. These apps are all free.
PicsArt
PicsArt is what I use to edit everything. You can filter, add text, add and edit photos, draw, make collages, and so much more. You can see why I love it so much. Once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless! You'll see just how versatile this app is in this book.
Phonto
Photo is an amazing app for typography. You have access to so many fonts, and you can install even more onto the app! You can have shadows, all the colors in the world, curving, and so much more for your text. I highly recommend using this to get the best, most highly sought for fonts.
Polarr
Polarr is a great filter app. There are plenty of pre-installed filters, and you can even create your own. This app is super professional. It's the best filtering app I've used because there are so many options and the work is very good.
Superimpose Studio
Superimpose Studio is basically a free version of Superimpose. I use it all the time when doing complex edits. This allows you to mask photos, make pngs, and add shadow/strokes to pngs. It has layers and lots of tools for masking.
I also recommend using Instagram and We Heart It for finding great aesthetic pictures, editing add ons, pngs, and textures.
Make sure to download these apps if you want to complete the tutorials in this book.
