Really? (Jeanette vs. Brittany)

Jeanette's POV

It's the last Thursday of summer vacation!!! I can't wait to get back to school, but tonight was sort of exciting because Brittany is going to Jenny's party tonight with Alvin and Eleanor is going to the state bake off with Theodore, so that means I have the whole tree house to myself! The only problem is I need to clean this place because some people need to put twelve pounds of makeup on, and some people don't clean up cake batter and crumbs that are on the counter! I also need someone to help me clean, but who?......Oh Yeah! The love of my life with his ocean blue eyes and his dark brown hair with his rosy cheeks.

"Simon!" I accidentally yelled out loud

"Jeanette, are you okay? You've been screaming out his name ever since summer started." Brittany said while she looked at me like I was crazy.

"Yeah, I know it's just he's so cute and adorable." I said while daydreaming Simon and l's wedding.

"Jeanette? Earth to Jeanette are you even listening woman?!" Asked Brittany

"Yes, Britt I am." I replied rolling my eyes

"Okay good, because how can you even like that little nerd so much? He is like not even that cute! I mean if your looking for a real man look at Alvin I know he's a jerk sometimes, but he is like the most popular boy at school and he's my boyfriend! Also he is literally labeled as Mr. Romance and Oh boy! Can he sing! He's almost as good as me." Brittany said trying to impress me

I just ignored her and said she was right, so she didn't talk about bad Simon anymore.

"Yeah, Britt that was great advice I'll take it."

"Okay, you can take my advice just not my man!" Giggled Brittany

I laughed with her for awhile and then she started getting ready for the party.

"Hey, girls, does this look okay?" Asked Brittany as she walked out in this bright pink sundress.

"Brittany that looks great on you!" Eleanor said while she was getting ready for her event.

"Jean?"

"Britt don't you think it's a little to you know showy?" I said concerned

"What do you mean showy?" Asked Brittany.

"Like you may need to wear a sweater or some tights with it."

"Oh! Jeanette your so right I didn't know that." Said Brittany sarcastically

"Well thanks for taking my advice Britt."

"Well I'm not taking your advice because your fashion advice is um you know not really that good!" Snapped Brittany

"Well I'm sorry just trying to help!" I snapped back

"Girls, Girls! Calm down and tell me how this looks."

"Oh Ellie that loo-" I tried saying when Brittany cut me me off.

"Oh Ellie! I've never been prouder! You look great!" Brittany said looking at me meanly. I had enough of Brittany for the day, so I decided I would just go to the store.

"Well bye girls it's almost 4:30, so I'm going to go get some cleaning supplies." I said I as grabbed my purse.

I was almost at the store when I saw Simon, walking around the corner. I hope he's not going to the store I thought to myself. So I ran as fast as I could into the store, but what I didn't know was that something very important fell out of my purse.
