CURRENT CHAPTER :
It was a beautiful weather, ther sky was filled with feather-like clouds. The wind hummed softly as cool breeze gently dance with nature. Two figure stands out in the hospital's roof.
"Why did you call me here?" Akemi asked Karamatsu bluntly.
"Emi-chan, you look gorgeous and lovely than ever" Karamatsu avoided the question.
"..."Akemi sighed in response, giving him a dead look on her face.
"Madam, you wound me!" Karamatsu whined "I called you here for a reason"
"What is this reason of yours?"
"I can tell that your trouble. Won't you mind telling it to me?"
"...!" Akemi's eyes widened, brows furrowed as her hands unconsciously made a fist "what are you talking about?"
She tried to feint, lying to herself. Yet an ache in her heart won't leave her no matter what she do. She just kept running.
"Akemi, do not lie to yourself" Karamatsu furrowed his brows, the tone of his voice was serious. completely shows worry in his face "you may take me as an idiot but unlike you, I do follow what my heart tells me too"
A sudden gust of wind suddenly slapped, the two figure as it messed up their hair. Yet their expression did not change at all, as the wind dies Akemi walked to the edge of the hospital, where the fences are. She took a deep breath before she spoke.
"... I know that..." Akemi watched the children taking a walk from below "... it's just that, I... I am afraid of turnout of the events."
"Even so!" Karamatsu yelled "it doesn't hurt to try, you are missing the bigger picture! you two might have been just a stranger now so what?! Every couples started as Stranger. So why back out now?!"
"It's not like that! it's... not like that" Akemi sat down, cowering on facing her own fears "Ichimatsu- he... likes Totoko-chan, he deserves her, more than I do."
"I don't get it, why... WHY ARE YOU LOWERING YOU'RE SELF-ESTEEM?!" By now Karamatsu, was completely frustrated
"He likes Totoko?"
"So what?"
" Are you just going to watch as get taken away?"
"Are you going to cower away again?"
"Like you did last time?"
Each question, Karamatsu took a step forward in Akemi's direction, emphasizing the last question. Trapping her between a fence and his body.
"You might not realize this but you're really selfish Akemi" By now Karamatsu's forehead met Akemi's head which made her stunned for a moment, yet a bit of fear and confusion showed in her eyes "you always think about your feelings that you're forgetting how the other one feels"
After a couple of minutes Karamatsu pulled away, as he heaved a sigh. He looked to the oceanic sky and moved back to the brown haired girl. He gave a grin at her and he returned to his normal cool 'painful' side and acted nothing has happened.
"Oh! Emi-chan!" He took a rose out of nowhere "I hope that this rose will give you courage"
Karamatsu gently pushed Akemi to the exit of the rooftop, as the girl gave Karamatsu one last glance before leaving, she mouthed a small gratitude and left. Karamatsu only smiled at her cute gestured. Once she was out of Karamtsu's sight, his smiled turned into a thin line. There weren't any traces of happiness in him anymore.
"And let that be the rose that I have declared my love to you and as well as I have given up on you." Karamatsu mumbled softly as he glared to the corner of the building.
"It's rude to eavesdrop on a conversation..." Karamatsu walked a bit at the other corner of the building "...Jyuushimatsu, also since when have been up here?"
"Hmm. I think about where Akemi asked why you called him?" Jyushimatsu answered.
"Geh! Isn't that technically the whole thing?!" Karamatsu yelled.
"Yeah!" Jyushimatsu cheerfully answered as he waved his hands around like a kid. "but Karamatsu-nii san, don't do something like that ever again."
"Yeah, yeah I know" Karamatsu heaved a sigh "besides, even if I liked her, it's not like I have a chance with her. You don't have to be so uptight, since I think I pushed all of the buttons right. All we have to do is wait."
"Osu!" Jyushimatsu answered "I hope Ichimatsu nii-san get to be happy too!"
"We should get going!" Karamtsu walked towards the stairs. "Our beloved brothers are waiting for us."
"Osu!" Jyushimatsu followed.
"Oi! Who're you waiting for,idiot?" A familliar, yet similar voice answered. It was the eldest brother
By this time, Karamatsu stopped his paces and saw the remaining brothers. Which was Osomastu, Choromatsu and Todomatsu.
"Let's go home, Karamatsu- nii san" Totty smiled at his brother.
"Yeah! Let's leave the two soon-to-be lovebird alone and lets go to a pub and drink our hearts out" Choromatsu added.
"It looks like you need it after all" Osomatsu walked towards Karamatsu and gave him a shoulder pat.
Karamatsu's face looked like he was about to cry, yet he tried to look strong. He really did tried to hold his tears back.
"Mmhm" His tears started to flow with a bit of snot. He walked down stairs and headed to the pub as his brothers followed along.
The rest of the night for the Matsuno brothers was filled with alcohol and released all of their tensed, hidden emotions.
