Umber's POV

"I'm going to train you to the best of your abilities; without your Pokemon. Once we have gained each others trust, I will return them to you."

"You said I'm in a high rank; how high exactly?"

"Just below Zinzolin and I; and above everyone else. The Shadow Triad is in your command as well."

"Is that so?"

"Indeed. When would you like to start?"

"Whenever you'd like me to."

"Augh! Where the hell do you guys come from?!" I tried to keep my defensives high, but you could never tell where they came from!

"Your senses are dull." One of three appeared behind me, and I turned to give him a punch to the face, but he just vanished as quickly as he appeared.

"Well I wasn't born with creepy ass powers!"  I took my fist back, keeping my surroundings in check.

"Don't rely on your eyes then." Another popped up next to me, and I went to kick him, only to have my leg grabbed. The triad member spun around a couple times, still gripping my leg, and let go. Next thing I knew, I was nearly through the wall.

"Dammit..." I growled.

"Are you quitting already?" I heard the last one say, appearing above me, coming down to land a punch. I quickly moved out of the way, but just barely.

I laughed. "You missed!" Even though he had a mask covering his mouth, I could see that smirk on his face. I stopped laughing when I felt another kick me in the side, making me fall down, gripping my side.

"Alright, alright, I quit!" I said through gritted teeth. They sure don't know how to hold back, I can tell you that. One of them came over, holding a hand out for me. Hesitantly, I took it, waiting for them to flip me over or something. Thank Arceus all they did was just pull me up to my feet.

"Thanks, Thing 1." I took my hand back, dusting my clothes off. "Do you guys even have names? Otherwise I'm calling you guys Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3."

The one who pulled me up smirked (obviously the one that attempted to hit me but missed). "Of course we have names. I'm Shinimi, the one who threw you into the wall was Kuro, and the first one was Ryuu!"

"Well, I'm Umber."

"We know." Ryuu mumbled.

"I thought I should have said anyways..." I sighed. "Whatever. What now?"

Shinimi shrugged. "We're in your command, so what would you want us to do? Before Ghetsis has us go do other work."

"I don't know, I'm still pretty sore from being thrown into a wall..." I looked over to Kuro, who only narrowed his eyes. Thank Arceus looks can't kill...

"You wanna go look around the ship? You're new here so I guess you should have a tour!"

"Uh, sure."

"Alright, then let's go!" He grabbed my wrist, and darted down out of the room and down the halls, dragging me behind.

~~~
"And last but not least, this is your room!" The hyper ninja said, opening the door. I peered inside, noticing it was larger and made for just one person.
"I get it all to myself?" I questioned, walking in. Shinimi followed behind.
"Well yeah, you are considered a high rank."
"I know, I know, it's just that I'm not used to this. On Team Rocket--"
"You're not on Team Rocket anymore," He interrupted. "You're on Team Plasma, and things are different here. We'll treat you better."
"I know! I just...I need to adjust to this."
"Yeah...ok. If you want me to leave you alone for a little while, I can."
I shrugged, and looked at him a little closer, and while he wasn't invisible. Pretty thin and pale, but you could tell he did have muscles though. He looked much younger than the other two, who I assume are his brothers, and didn't look like he could be much older than me. Everything else about him was identical to the others, long white hair (which I don't believe is his real hair) and the same black clothing as the other two.
"Hey...how old are you?" I asked.
Shinimi raised an eyebrow, probably wondering why I'd ask a question like that. "19, why?"
"You just look younger than your brothers..." I paused. "They are your brothers, right?"
"Of course they are, and yes, I am the youngest. I'm 19, Ryuu is the oldest at 26, and Kuro is in the middle at 24."
"But you guys look so identical at the same time...how are you guys not triplets?"
"You actually thought that we all look like this?" He said, gesturing to himself. "No, no. This is a wig and we wear matching colored contacts."
"Can I see you without them on?"
"What? No. We just met today, I don't think I want to show you yet."
"Why not?"
"Because we haven't shown anyone except Ghetsis what we look like. We're not really suppose to show anyone what we really look like."
"Oh..." I didn't understand why, but it was probably better to just leave the conversation where it is.
"Alright, anyways," Shinimi said, clapping his hands together. "This is your wardrobe," He walked over to the closet in the corner, and opened it up to show multiple black and white uniforms. "And you're expected to be back in the training room by noon tomorrow. You can get breakfast in the cafeteria; you remember where that is right? If not I can show you tomorrow again. We can't have you passing out from hunger during training tomorrow!" He grinned. Everytime he grinned and smirked, it just reminded me of someone I knew, who I haven't talked to in quite some time.
"...Can you at least take that mask off your mouth?" I requested.
His grin disappeared, replaced with that confused look again. "I guess, but why?"
"No reason." It's not that you remind me of some dork I knew.
The ninja just stood there, probably wondering if he should or not. But he shrugged anyways and pulled his mask down, revealing his whole face. He still grinned, but it wasn't what I was expecting. I expected to see a familiar signiture smirk from Gold, but this guy wasn't him. (But damn, he looks hotter without the mask).
"Does this satisfy you?" He asked.
"Yeah..." I said, trying to hide my disappointment.
"What do ya think?"
I hesitated. "You look hotter without the mask."
He laughed a cute little laugh. "Really? I don't think anyone's told me that! Of course...I don't think anyone has seen me without it. So congrats! You're the first!"
"Don't I feel special."
"You should. Heh, I like you, you're cool." He said, pulling the mask one once again. "Well I should get goin', don't wanna keep ya up too late."
"Oh, yeah, goodnight then." I said, glancing at the clock on the side table next to the bed.
"Night." He walked out of my room, closing the door behind him.
This might be easier than I thought. I mean, all I have to do is gain their trust, get my Pokemon back, and break out of here, right?
